What is OurAugusta?

OurAugusta is the premier local business directory for the Central Savannah River Area (CSRA). We help consumers discover and connect with local businesses across Augusta, GA, Aiken, SC, and the surrounding 18-county region.

What areas does OurAugusta cover?

We cover the entire CSRA, including Augusta, Evans, Martinez, and Grovetown in Georgia, plus North Augusta and Aiken in South Carolina. Our directory spans 13 Georgia counties and 5 South Carolina countiesโ€”home to over 770,000 residents.

Is OurAugusta free to use?

Yes! Searching and browsing businesses is completely free for consumers. Business owners can also claim their listings for free with verification.

How many businesses are listed?

We currently have over 8,500 local business listings across 15 categories, from restaurants and retail to professional services and healthcare.

For Consumers

How do I search for businesses?

Use the search bar on any page to search by business name, category, or keyword. You can filter results by city, category, and rating. Our map view helps you find businesses near your location.

Can I save my favorite businesses?

Yes! Create a free account to save businesses to your favorites list. You can access your saved businesses anytime from your dashboard.

How do I leave a review?

Sign in to your account, visit the business page, and click "Write a Review." Share your honest experience with a star rating and written review. All reviews are moderated to ensure quality.

Are the reviews trustworthy?

We display both Google reviews (imported from Google Maps) and reviews submitted directly on OurAugusta. All user-submitted reviews go through moderation to filter spam and inappropriate content.

How do I contact a business?

Each business listing shows available contact information including phone, website, and address. For Premium and Featured businesses, you can also submit a contact form directly through our site.

For Business Owners

How do I claim my business listing?

Find your business on OurAugusta and click "Claim This Business." You'll need to verify ownership through email verification (using your business email) or by uploading a business document like a license or utility bill.

What is the Partner Badge requirement?

To maintain free Claimed status, you must either display our "Trusted OurAugusta Partner" badge on your website OR refer another business that successfully claims their listing. Premium and Featured subscribers don't need the badge.

What happens if I remove the Partner Badge?

We check for the badge weekly. If it's removed and you don't have a valid referral, you'll receive a reminder, then a warning at 7 days, and your listing will downgrade to Free tier at 30 days.

What can I do with a claimed listing?

With a claimed listing you can: edit your business information, upload up to 5 photos, add up to 10 tags, respond to reviews, and receive 1 lead per month. Upgrade for more features.

How do I edit my business information?

Once claimed, go to your business page and click "Edit Business" or access it from your dashboard. You can update your description, hours, contact info, photos, and more.

How do I respond to reviews?

From your business dashboard, go to the Reviews section. You can post public responses to any review on your listing. Professional, helpful responses build trust with potential customers.

Pricing & Subscriptions

What are the pricing tiers?

We offer four tiers: Free (basic auto-generated listing), Claimed (free with verification + badge/referral), Premium ($29/month), and Featured ($79/month). Each tier unlocks more features for business owners.

What does Premium include?

Premium ($29/month) includes: up to 10 photos, 15 tags, 10 leads/month, full analytics dashboard, video embed capability, menu/services list, and review response tools.

What does Featured include?

Featured ($79/month) includes everything in Premium plus: up to 25 photos, unlimited leads, homepage placement, priority in category searches, a Featured badge, and monthly SEO performance reports.

Can I cancel my subscription anytime?

Yes, you can cancel your Premium or Featured subscription at any time. Your benefits continue until the end of your billing period, then your listing reverts to Claimed status (with badge/referral requirement).

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards through our secure payment processor, Stripe. Your payment information is never stored on our servers.

Privacy & Data

How is my personal information protected?

We take privacy seriously. Your personal data is protected using industry-standard encryption. We never sell your information to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Where does the business data come from?

Our listings are sourced from Google Places data, including business names, addresses, hours, and reviews. Business owners can claim and update their information for accuracy.

How do I request removal of my business?

Business owners can contact us to request delisting. We'll verify ownership before removing any listing. Note that basic business information may still appear in search results from other sources.
