Absolutely Horrendous – This Hotel Should Be Shut Down Immediately! This so-called “hotel” is nothing more than a hazardous construction site disguised as a place of lodging. It is beyond comprehension how management has the audacity to keep this establishment open while it is in the middle of a full-blown renovation. From 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM, guests are bombarded with the deafening sounds of construction—drilling, hammering, and shouting workers—all while trying to relax or sleep. The entire place reeks of toxic paint and dust, making it an outright health hazard. To make matters worse, I was assigned a room on a floor that was completely under construction. The dust coated everything, and the air was thick with fumes that made it nearly impossible to breathe. This is not just an inconvenience; it is a blatant violation of basic safety and health regulations. It is beyond irresponsible—it is dangerous. As if that weren’t bad enough, some of the construction workers actually live in the hotel, treating it like their personal dormitory. They were excessively loud, shouting and making noise until nearly 3:00 AM, ensuring that a good night’s sleep was impossible. Management has clearly abandoned any responsibility for maintaining a decent environment for paying guests. This property should not be operating under any circumstances. It is an active construction zone, a health risk, and a complete nightmare. Authorities should investigate immediately, and until then, I strongly urge everyone to avoid this place at all costs. Stay here at your own risk—because management certainly doesn’t care about your well-being

They accuse us of locking our own card after we wanted an extended stay. The front desk service is awful and unhelpful. Unless we HAVE to, we will not stay there again. Hope they get better service and air conditioning for future guests. Also, breakfast has poor selection and flat apple juice. The primary issue though was the service.

My experience at Wingate by Wyndham was excellent, nice and clean. The staff was very nice and the room is what you would expect. Over all fantastic. I will return one day. Enjoy it very much.

Great hotel! Convenient to all things Augusta (Masters, Downtown, MCG, Fort etc). New management making this hotel fresh and welcoming for all. Best value for the upgrades. Excited to stay here every time we visit!!

terrible ! please do not stay here they will scam you out of money that is unnecessary. stayed here since the 24th no problem. check in was easy. the 26th i go to book again no problem we get there all of a sudden we have to pay $150 deposit that we have not payed since we have once been there. if so that’s something that should’ve been paid at check in or online when booking. cool pay the $100, stay there is fine. rooms are ok kind of outdated. we go to check in again tonight, all of a sudden we’re no longer allowed to book and they can not accept our reservation because it was labeled as “smoking”. never smoked in that room not once and if so why continue to allow us to book and take our money? the only reason that was labeled there is because THE MANAGER was mad we questioned him about paying a deposit since we had not payed it the 3-4 nights previously. they then still allowed us to book a room and take the money to tell us that to then not cancel our reservation. Please do not waste your money.
