While I was hesitant to go into the Evans Wells Fargo based on the poor reviews, because it is close to my home, I took a chance. Today, I went in to cash a check that was refused at the teller machine last week based on my last name on my bank account not matching the check. My deceased husband's name is also on the check. I went into the bank and stood in the teller line for assistance. The first teller didn't know how to proceed and asked for help from the teller next to her. They loudly talked amongst themselves without acknowledging me, and the second teller kept making inappropriate comments about how she didn't like how the U.S. Treasury wrote my dead husband's name on the check, which was very insensitive to me and inappropriate. While they kept talking loudly amongst themselves, I offered to give them the letter Wells Fargo sent, and they kept cutting me off rudely without looking at me or even acknowledging me standing there. After I repeated that I could give them the letter, the second teller, out of exasperation, told me that I would need to speak with a banker and abruptly handed me back my check. I was taken aback by the rudeness and unprofessionalism exhibited by both tellers. I have banked with Wells Fargo ( First Union, Wachovia, and now Wells Fargo) for 33 years. I ended up speaking with banker Jeff Bowers, who I immediately told that I'm autistic ( it's notated in my bank account) because I was afraid of receiving the same unprofessional treatment. This young man was professional and showed compassion regarding my deceased husband, whose name is on the check. He took his time answering my questions and made me feel at ease. While I was still frazzled by the two tellers' unprofessional behavior, Jeff had me lau...

Nichole the "manager" is rude wanting to argue with a customer instead of just simply listening to understand what she was being told. It's simply ridiculous how she just carried. Never had an issue until her. Do better.

Horrible customer service. Teller was rude. Not helpful. Talking about customers as they are walking out. Too easy to close the account Iβve had since 1992. Would highly not recommend this branch. 0 stars

Sold a car and was given a check for $20k from Wells Fargo. Went to this branch to cash it. The teller said they couldn't do it. Didn't even say she would check if they had the funds. This is a national bank that should easily be able to cash a check of this amount... Where's the money??

This branch has continued to exhibit poor awful customer service day after day month after month year after year I see why the turnover in employees is so high here. What awful people. It always is so funny to me that they get upset that we have a lot of deposits. They really really donβt like to sit and count money I know ironic right? They get upset if you have a lot of deposits because it takes away from their precious time of sitting around doing nothing
