Waffle House

Everyone knows that waffle house is what it is! But, it certainly hits the spot for something casual, and quick on a weekend! The service was good and the food was great. I wish their coffee was a bit stronger, but the orange juice was amazing!

Great place to eat. Always gets out order right. Cooks perfect. Waitress was exceptional and gave her a good tip!! Kept my coffee cup full and my husband's tea filled. Clean.

Me & my husband came in for a very early morning breakfast. We sat down prepared to eat in . The waiter looked very worn out and I understood! We ordered our drinks and he brought them to us in to go cups. I thought it was weird considering we were eating in but it was whatever. I figured he just didn’t want to wash dishes. We ordered our food but we moved tables because that side of the restaurant was a little cold which was no problem. After the food was finished I seen they were putting everything in a bag in to go plates. So we paid but I went back in there because they forgot my cheese grits and the waiter stepped outside to smoke a cigarette and the waiter told the people behind me that the grill was down . They guy behind me came in to use the restroom and he asked the cook about the grill being down and the cook said it was not down. So therefore he just didn’t want to wait on nobody! That’s what it seemed like at least

Went to waffle house at 3am due to it being the only thing open in Aiken for the night workers. They had handwritten signs on the door saying "to-go orders only", which I was fine with cause that's what I wanted but as soon as I walked into the completely empty restaurant the 2 staff members told me it would be at least 30 minutes before they could serve me because they had to "regroup and organize." I would've understood this if they were busy or had any customers inside but there weren't any and didn't look like there had been any for a while. It was obvious the employees just didn't want to work because the lady employee walked out immediately behind me for a smoke break.

Kathy was my server this morning. She is very efficient plus kind and helpful. The food was cooked just as I asked and delivered quickly so I could be on my way. I recommend it.
