Contractors Beware – Highly Unprofessional Behavior As a licensed contractor, I was recently dragged into small claims court by a customer who abruptly canceled a project midway—without warning or explanation—after I had already completed more than 50% of the work. During the hearing, I discovered that an employee at WA Bragg had emailed my client, claiming I “had no clue what I was doing,” simply because I had called the store to confirm which plumbing part to use. This unsolicited and reckless commentary caused the client to panic and cancel the job, and the email was even presented as evidence in court. To make matters worse, the same employee followed up with my client afterward, asking them to “call and fill her in” on how things turned out with me—suggesting a troubling level of personal involvement in a project that had nothing to do with her or WA Bragg. This behavior is not only unprofessional, it’s damaging to honest tradespeople trying to do their job. It makes me wonder if WA Bragg plays favorites with certain contractors or receives kickbacks for referrals. Regardless, I will never do business with them again. If you’re a contractor relying on fair treatment and professionalism, proceed with extreme caution.

Michelle is such a gem! My husband and I have used WA Bragg for our master bathroom and our kitchen faucets. Michelle is so quick to respond, gives a variety of options at various price points, and provides such a welcoming presence. I cannot recommend this company enough!

Bragg has a wonderful inventory and if they do not have the item you are looking for, they will find it. They have competitive prices (lower than what I was quoted in Charleston). They are BEYOND HELPFUL and KNOW THEIR STUFF. They helped me with every last detail of my home build. MICHELLE IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST!! She assisted me with plumbing fixtures, lighting fixtures, appliances and much more. She knew things that I would've probably had to learn the hard way during construction. This company truly made my first time home building experience less stressful, more fun and easy. I never had to question where I was in the process or what was paid/owed. All of my questions were answered in a timely manor. They truly care about their customer experience. I now have the forever home of my dreams but if anyone else I know builds/remodels I will only recommend W.A. Bragg and Michelle.

The staff is always helpful and knowledgeable, especially when it comes to finding obscure parts for older installations.

Michelle Shelton was amazing working with us to select all of our appliances and plumbing fixtures for our new construction home! She was patient yet had lots of helpful suggestions. She really made a potentially tiresome chore a fun and exciting project! I now consider her a dear friend!!
