CAUTION. Reserved a trailer 3 days prior. The guy working there showed up 30 minutes late. No apology. After messing around on the computer for 15 minutes he told me the trailer I reserved wasn’t there and I needed to call U-Haul 1-800 number. That I had to find myself. Then he just got up and left. Didn’t offer to help me at all. Terrible customer service. Use a different company

DO NOT …. DO NOT RENT U-Haul from here. The store has been on a very bad decline trajectory for a while now. I went to pick up my rental from them couple days back and they never opened. I called U-Haul and they gladly changed my times and locations and offered me an extra 15% discount. If you are reading this review, please go to another U-Haul pick up location and safe your self time and money.

Please don’t use these scammers hiding behind a legitimate company. I picked up the vehicle at a separate location, but made this the drop off location. I have lived in multiple cities through the years and have used U-Haul for every move. I have dropped off trucks at numerous locations from Murphy, NC to Savannah, GA at all hours of the day and night. U-Haul knows moving isn’t fun so they allow after hours drop offs. You take pictures of the truck, upload them, lock it, put the keys in the drop box, and that’s it. I have done this routine countless times. I thought everything was done as usual until I got emailed an extra receipt and noticed I was being charged for literally nothing. I have NEVER been charged an “after hours service fee”. Not once have I even seen this charge in my many past experiences with this company. I called to try to figure why I was charged this fee since I did everything the website prompted me to do, but they refused to answer the phone. I tried multiple times a day for 3 days to contact someone and got no answer and even went to the building only to find a closed sign and no one available despite their online hours saying open.

The man I spoke to on the phone sold me a one way contract and said if I turned in the U-Haul early I would be refunded any time and miles I did not use. This is explicitly a lie, after speaking to U-Haul support I was informed that this is not how one way contracts work at all, this after paying and breaking my back to get my move finished as quickly as possible. They also ended up sending me to North Augusta to pick up my rental after reserving. Seriously, these people will scam you and lie to your face. Don’t trust anyone here.

Wanted to rent a truck - walked into business and nobody there. Walked around the property and no one around. Somebody actually lives in the office behind the counter. Filthy and stinks. Don't go here - waste of time.
