Charles was very nice. However, I scheduled an appointment at 230, drove from Harlem & arrived at 230. Waited 20 mins to be told by another banker she couldn't assist me & that it would be past 3 before he could help me. I get things happen, but if I have to schedule an appointment, it should be kept to. Now I'm rushing back to Harlem to pick my kid up & still don't have a bank account set up. This was a waste of time, gas, & money smh. No, I don't want to reschedule. No, I don't want you to contact me. I'll look into other banks.

Good people willing to provide basic banking services. However, they have very little authority over the Corporate Office. Truist, keeps taking away perks such as free checking, free checks, free safe deposit box etc....I have had this account for about 40 years. Truist is greedy and is not concerned nor do they care about the individual customer. Save yourself the grief and bank elsewhere.

This review is specific to the Evans location. I've banked with SunTrust/ Truist since 1999. My experience with Kiran's unprofessionalism is making my consider closing my accounts and going elsewhere. I went in to deposit a check and open a secondary account. Elishia was nice, cordial at the counter. After depositing a check I inquired about opening a secondary account and was directed to sit in the waiting area. Kiran, who was behind me in the line to talk with a teller, would help me. Kiran waved at me and I moved to seating area. Kiran seemed to make it their job to make me wait in the lobby yesterday. So I sat and waited while Kiran went back to their desk and worked something out with one of the employees. Then I waited some more while Kiran sat alone at their desk. After a while of that, I stood up in the seating /waiting area to make sure they could see someone was stilling waiting because it wasn't that busy if you have periodic moments when a teller was without a customer. After 15 minutes, a miltary gentleman came over to the waiting area. I apologized for the standing, explaining that I feared they'd forgotten I was there. I sat down and waited some more. After a few more minutes, Kiran came to tell me that they would be right with me after they helped the gentleman. I said, no Kiran. You obviously don't want to help me specifically and I need to go to another branch. And I left before noting their name. I drove to the Washington Rd/Skinner Mill Rd branch. This location is like night and day. That branch is genuinely friendly. As Cynthia helped me, I watched as she other employees greeted regular customers BY THEIR NAME as they walked through the door. If the Evans branch had a fraction of that pleasantry towards customers and genuine camaraderie for their coworkers, I would not be posting today. My (80yo) mother has been a long time client. She purchased a CD last year. When the CD matured, they automatically rolled her into a new one. Thatβs in the agreement, so no issues there. BUT, the new CD was paying 0.0%!! This was in 2024 when CDs were paying over 4%. They made her pay a fee to get out of it lol.
