My family has used Tippet Eye Care for many years. A recent Visit for my husband resulted in insurance miscommunication. Dr Tippet called me personally and we were able to figure out the issue and get it handled expeditiously. My son and I went for our visit and the staff was phenomenal. Everyone was extremely nice and friendly. My son needed glasses and has some sensory issues. They patiently helped him until he found the perfect pair. Not once did they act like it was a chore ( because he can take a hot minute to make up his mind). Thank you Dr Tippet and amazing staff for making our experience easy and smooth. Highly recommend for all ages.

Be aware of upcharges. Husband visited 2/20/25. Insurance covers contact lens fittings. However, this Dr. charges for "premium contact fitting with follow up" which is not standard and is not covered. And this upcharge is not disclosed so you can choose a standard fitting exam. Have had contacts many years and never had to pay for this exam. Never got a bill only a text with a link to pay with no explanation.

Front desk collected the wrong amount even when I questioned it at check in. Nice enough staff but added to the frustrating experience. Came in for my annual exam without any concerns with my prescription but needed a new one so I could order contacts and glasses. Optometrist said my prescription was lower strength and when I asked if my eyes were somehow better she was rude and stated was -1.5 is less than -2. She gave me the prescription and the contacts and they were very blurry. Contacting the office to change to the -2.0 prescription for contacts required multiple calls. Months later I asked if the glasses prescription could be changed back to -2 and they denied, saying it’s normal to have it different from a contacts prescription. My -1.5 glasses are causing squinting. Overall a simple visit was very frustrating and will not be returning for my next annual. Did not feel respected or heard when i had concerns.

Worked with Krystal, she was very easy to talk to and helped me pick out many frames and told me all of my customization options. She also made sure that I was satisfied with my experience before leaving.

Great friendly girls in the office Jennifer Sarah Cass and Jeannel. They remember who I am they are always willing to help out. Always smiling and friendly. My husband and I think this is the best eyeglass place to go. We will certainly go back!
