The Salvation Army Donation Center

So nice and friendly here!! I will return again and again to donate household items here, as they were appreciative of my donations, and helpful to me. The woman gave me information to get a truck to come out to my house for a pickup of larger items as well. Thanks so much!

I'm going to donate for the first time to the SA today. I'm excited because I know they do good works better that Goodwill. Don't get me wrong ... I know people who work for Goodwill entities (in my store, for instance) and they do help, but when I first heard how much the Goodwill CEO makes, I was appalled! Never again will I donate to Goodwill. Not to mention the piles and piles of stuff that they have accumulated in their warehouses that's likely gonna go to waste and harm our planet even more!

I have volunteered here multiple times. It is a great place to support your community and they are very accommodating. I would recommend volunteering here for anyone that wants to support their community, while doing a job that allows the time to go by fast.

Their website listed mattresses as one of the items accepted for donation, but upon arrival with a like-new mattress, I was told they haven’t accepted mattresses or box springs “in years”. They have a phone number listed, but the employees openly admit to not answering it. “This is a warehouse” they said. I would give this place 0 stars if I could.
