The Pizza Joint

One of the best pizza places in Augusta! Nice staff, amazing eats and great atmosphere. Definitely worth checking out!

Quite possibly the worst pizza I've ever had...their margherita was essentially diced stewed tomatoes on a crust resembling wonder bread, if you looked closely, you might find some mozzarella, and the "fresh" basil that was put on before they cooked the pie. Service wasn't anything to write home about, although I did see the bartender spend 5 mins putting her hair in a tie, yet never washed her hands before continuing to serve drinks (at least she doesn't serve food?), oh and if you look up, you'll see basically everything overhead covered in an almost fur-like fuzz of dust, to include the kitchen area....I actually think some of that dust might make their pies more enjoyable.

Cute little place. We parked in the back without realizing there was a front entrance too. It's cute from the front. It was too hot to sit outside, but we walked out there to check the seating. Not the greatest decor, but the pizza was amazing. Don't let the back of the building scare you away, the food was great.

My favorite pizza place in the CSRA. I am a pizza connoisseur, so i judge pretty harshly. The pizza joint downtown hits the spot everytime. The crust is so good. Very old and original building but it’s a vibe!

went to this location and decided to try the appetizers. the knots are one of a kind. enough for 4 people. must try. the wings are ok. the meat balls are good with fresh cheese and a Unique style of homemade sauce.. By far the best thing was there cheese bread a must try...when I go back next year I'll try the pizza for the one bite challenge.
