The Partridge Inn Augusta, Curio Collection by Hilton

We love PI! We had a room block here for our wedding weekend and it was great! The food, shuttle, service, and location is great! Norman was our driver for the shuttle and he was very accommodating! We loved him.. great guy! We also used the presidential suite to get ready in for the girls and the rooftop for the bridal luncheon- highly recommend it!

I was disappointed with my stay for several reasons: 1. The rooms, while cute, aren’t dark and extremely loud when trying to sleep. The air conditioning unit is very loud and noisily kicks on every 30 minutes. The doors have enough light to create a glow in the room while attempting to sleep. We also happened to be there during a night there were 3 weddings. Lots of unquiet people. 2. The service lacked. While people were friendly they weren’t helpful. It’s possible they were overwhelmed by the volume of guests utilizing valet, bar service, or asking questions. Waits were long and alternative options for parking, eating, or activities weren’t available. I was traveling solo with my 7 year old on my way to the beach. Our drive was much longer than anticipated and we needed some good rest and food options and didn’t get them. 3. The food from the restaurant wasn’t worth the cost. Do some research and find an off campus choice. I order a steak for my salad and I got 80 % fat and 20% meat. My daughter’s salmon was over cooked and just not very good. Quality control just wasn’t there on a super busy weekend. 4. The location was fine in that it got me a good break from driving. However, there is nothing near by or walkable. Or at least the staff made it seem it wasn’t a good idea to walk anywhere with my daughter.

The very top bar is probably the most beautiful spot in all of Augusta. Beside that, the king room with balcony was nice. Not as lavish as I would think but still nice non the less. Its a special spot. I went for my honeymoon and wasn't disappointed. Pool was closed for maintenance but can't really be mad at that cause they did that on a Sunday to Monday.

I was visiting from Oklahoma and diner in the restaurant 8595. The ambiance was nice a tad bit warm, but the server and food was impeccable. I had the fried green tomatoes and the fried chicken. Both suggested by Lashan. They came out hot crispy and cooked to perfection. The server hospitality matched the quality of the food. Best service and chicken I’ve had in a long time. Absolutely recommend, absolutely going back!
