Had an outstanding experience here today. Joey was amazing and made the whole process fun and entertaining. I had never done anything like this before, but Joey made things so simple that the anxiety of trying something like making my own knife quickly turned to enjoyment. I can't say enough good things about this experience. This is an easy birthday or christmas present for anyone who enjoys knives or just wants to see how they're made.

We had a great experience today with Joey. We had good conversation while we learned how to forge a custom and unique knife. The morning was spent making memories with my husband while we both learned something new, now my son wants to go too. My husband and I highly recommend this experience.

Awesome time today at Joey’s. Did the 10 am Saturday class with a friend and we both had a great experience making a knife from a railroad spike. Joey is a true craftsman and provides guidance through the process. You can tell that he has a passion for his work. In addition he is a heck of a nice guy and when not hammering or grinding away it was a cool chatting with him on all manner of topics. Everything needed was provided and the forge itself is loaded with all manner of metal working tools and machines. Cool just looking around the place while waiting for the metal to heat between rounds. If interested at all in knife making then do yourself a favor and book a slot. Even if not totally interested in knife making, the class is a great experience all the way around. Walked away with a beautiful knife that I had a part in making and memories that will last a lifetime.

This was a great time. Joey was really cool and down to earth without being too serious. He was also very knowledgeable and patient while maintaining safe practices. Watching a railroad spike go from original spike to finished product was really cool. I would definitely recommend this as a gift or date for someone who really enjoys working with their hands. Fair warning as well; read what you’re supposed to wear and wear the appropriate attire. He has all of it on his website.
