Food: For an appetizer we all had Mozzarella Sticks. They weren’t bad but kind of mediocre. I ordered the Loaded Baked Potato and Baby Back Ribs. The Loaded baked potato was good but was missing something. I personally did not like the ribs but the people at my table liked the ribs. The ribs were dry and charred. One person at my table ordered the Mahi Mahi Fish and broccoli. They loved it but the flavor wasn’t consistent throughout the fish. The broccoli was also good but lacked seasoning. Another person at my table ordered a Crab Cake, Loaded Potato, and Cream Spinach. The Spinach had no flavor and was stringy. It lacked seasoning. The Loaded Potato was good. The Crab Cake was flat, crumb breaded, lacked crab, the portion had been reduced, and flavorless. Service: Our Waitress was Haley. She gave us a small plate that was dirty. It took her ten minutes to get me a Sprite. She forgot to give someone at my table a cake for their birthday. Other than that she was nice. Atmosphere: The atmosphere was good. It looked formal and romantic. It was clean and not very loud. Overall: Just very meh. Not horrendous at least for me but not a rememberable experience either. They seemed to have downgraded from last time I went.

Today we went to enjoy some good food, and long story short it wasn’t prepared properly and it was cold time and time again. The fried chicken on the salad was cold to the touch and the cheese sticks were messed up too. So we just got up and left. Good server tho.

I have been in Augusta for over 8 years and I have NEVER received the service that I have tonight. Nichole, a new employee, went ABOVE and beyond from the moment she introduced herself as our waitress. She knew the menu front to back and was extremely interactive and attentive. The food was superb and I am thoroughly impressed that she just started! I will be back and I will most definitely ask for her to be my waitress next week. If you’re reading this, thank you so much for the amazing customer service Nichole!

like that the establishment is clean and dust free. Still like silverware and knife cloth napkins. Service was friendly swift and excellent attention. UNFORTUNATELY- This Monday evening would not have been a good reflection of the good quality food coming out of the kitchen. Onion rings were okay - nice big round fried onion rings. Cut and paired with nice mayo mustard. Filet Steak ordered medium was well done and grey and Dried out. The inch thick pork chop was was over cooked burnt outside and dried out on inside. My 2 crab cakes were thin crab patties with panko crust pan fried nearly black and definitely burnt in spots. The only dish finished was the ribeye rare roast. Beautiful half inch and rare. Only the friend with pork chop sent his back and recooked perfectly medium pink. My filet friend and my crab cakes felt guilty if we sent out back too. Wish we had. This time I was NOT a FaN for the food.

I love Happy Hour here. The drinks are the best in town. The food at Chop House is delicious. I always get the crab cakes and shrimp, and it is always good. From time to time, I will change it up a little and get New York strip steaks, and each time, they are cooked to perfection, so tender and juicy. My daughter loves the pork chops and mashed potatoes. Check them out; they don’t disappoint.
