Sunset Inn

Information was misleading and deceitful. Although the daily rate was acceptable, it turned out the 1st night rate was exuberant. $90 + compared to the other daily rate of $50 +. The tax for 3 days came to around $58.00. The room was not even carpeted, the fridge was tiny, no coffee maker. My wife & I made a trip from Austin, TX to Augusta, GA and stayed one night at the Quality Inn & Suites in Pearl, on the way going and on the way back. What a difference in service. The quality of the room, the breakfast provided and the in-room coffee was all so great. Sunset INN seems to be run by Indian management. Will NEVER stay there again. NEVER.

Good Location. The rooms are renovated. No bugs. When it storms or rain hard, the satellite goes out but it does not stay out for long. No laundry facility on property. Very quiet. Friendly staff.

I had a great experience at Sunset Inn Augusta! The rooms are newly renovated — very clean, comfortable, and affordable. The front desk staff, especially pru, was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a quiet, budget-friendly stay with excellent service!

I recently stayed at the Sunset Inn in Augusta, GA, and it was an experience I’d rather forget. After a long night out downtown, I needed a quick place to crash, but I was deeply disappointed by what I found. First and foremost, the room was disgusting. There were visible bugs crawling around, which made me feel incredibly uneasy. To make matters worse, the bathroom had mold in the corners and an overall unclean appearance. The stench in the room was unbearable, and I couldn't shake the feeling that I was in a place that hadn’t been properly maintained in years. Given the poor quality of the room, I found the rates to be outrageous. I expected a basic level of cleanliness and comfort, but this place fell far short of even that. I will definitely not be returning to the Sunset Inn. If you’re looking for a place to stay, I highly recommend seeking out a different option. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this one!
