I have been going to this woman for YEARS, whether it be for casual wear, formal wear, tops, bottoms - you name it. I need most of my clothes hemmed for my height. But I was SO offended by how I was treated this morning. Last year, I took a bridesmaids dress to her 1 time, to which she kindly said “I’m not taking formal wear” to which I was assuming due to influx of formal wear due to wedding season. I haven’t seen her until this time, which was this morning. This morning, I took 1 plain black polyester dress to her to ask if she could hem the bottom for me. I saw a sign on the door that said no formal dresses. I was under the impression it was not a formal dress due to the material and simplicity, but I’m no expert. When I walked in, she raised her voice to say “Stop bringing formal dresses!” This was in a very rude way, and in front of another customer. I had only taken her ONE formal dress to her the year before, as mentioned. I believe this could have been addressed in a kind manner due to “misunderstanding.” But REGARDLESS, I feel like you shouldn’t talk to customers like that - or any person for that matter! I refuse to support this business anymore

The first of December I took 3 new pair of Ralph Lauren Polo jeans to be hemmed and tapered. I also took a pair of my husband's older jeans which she had done the same service on before for her to measure to get the length and width needed. She measured and wrote down the size told me to pick up on the 16th. I went to pick them up on date she said, they were not ready. I went back later in day to pick up. My husband tried them on when I get home, the legs were so tight he couldn't get them off. I took them back to her along with the original pair to compare to so she could see they weren't right. I picked up the next week. Once again, they were still too tight. I left them again her telling me she would let them out as much as she could. She had to of cut off what she took up before because this being the 3rd time getting them back, they STILL don't fit!! She doesn't have the best personality but we have been taking things to her for 6 yrs. You can bet, we will NOT be going back. These 3 pair of jeans were $100 each and she has ruined them! Do yourself a favor and go someplace else. I just found out after taking them someplace else, Sun Fashions cut off the material the first time so thats why they still don't. There's nothing to let out, so therefore, she had to of lied about trying to repair them. She knew she had messed them up and there was nothing she could do. (Almost 2 mths later)

Had two pairs of pants let out after a holiday of eating way to many Christmas cookies. They are very good at work what they do, and with a smile.

She ruined my $3,000 bedspread & she lied about it & kept the fabric she cut off to make it from a king to a queen. She only cut off on one side I now have a seam 2/3 in from the edge of the bed. She told me 3 times that she didn’t care. For simple alterations she’s okay but for complicated ones…stay away!
