Sugar Magnolias

We hosted our elopement “reception” here and we had a wonderful time. Overall, I’m really glad that we chose Sugar Mags as our location because the guests loved it and so did we. For the price and location, it’s a great option/experience! The only thing that I would suggest is allowing people to have an earlier check in time. We paid for early check in (10am vs basic check in time @ noon) and if you are doing a day rental like we did, 10am is a little late. We wanted family to show up at 5pm before our reception started so that we could get professional pictures before everyone else showed up and we didn’t have time to do that. Set up, getting ready for pictures, etc felt really rushed and stressful-which just isn’t ideal when you’re celebrating the fact that you just got married (and paid a lot to do so). Thank you, Courtney!! We had a blast.

It was very beautiful on the inside and out. Super welcoming. Clean and lots of open areas. Perfect for birthday parties, baby showers or a wedding!

The place is lovely. It is bigger than it seems but it appears to be more for small sized events. The back courtyard area is perfect for pictures and hanging out. The parking is very limited or you can park near here and walk. The place is well kept and tidy. Overall, we had a good time.

Very beautiful and intimate venue with so much character. Hosted my daughter’s baby shower here and it was perfect. Owner is quick to respond. An added bonus for me was linens on site. I highly recommend and will always keep this sweet venue in mind for future events.

The best people and the most unique space in Augusta, Ga! Extremely convenient to the parking deck near by as well as the hotel for our out of town guests! Thank you so much!
