I gave this Davis Road branch three stars because my visit started off on a positive note. I was greeted immediately upon entering by a friendly staff member who asked about the reason for my visit and let me know someone would assist me shortly. Within a minute, a representative came out to help. However, once I reached her office, the experience shifted. She didn’t offer me a seat, and after logging into her computer without saying a word, I explained I was there to update my name due to marriage. She didn’t acknowledge or congratulate me, and for a moment, I wasn’t sure if she had even heard me. A few seconds later, she asked how she could help, so I repeated myself. She then asked for my ID and Social Security card, and I also handed over my debit card voluntarily. Things took a turn when she asked if I wanted a new debit card with my updated name. I said yes, assuming it was standard procedure. She took my old card and said it would be shredded and replaced shortly. But after a few minutes, she informed me the machine was down and I’d need to visit another branch to get the new card. I mentioned I was on a short break, but she simply said the other location wasn’t far. It was frustrating and inconvenient—especially since she could have checked the machine before destroying my card. To make matters worse, she never smiled or showed any warmth throughout the interaction. It felt as though I was an inconvenience. If I’d had more time, I would have spoken with a manager. I went to the branch off Wheeler Road to get the new card. The service was great. I will rate them separately.

I recently visited SRP Credit Union at 125 Davis Road in Augusta, GA, on January 3, 2025, to open a basic checking account. The entire process was nothing short of frustrating, and I left feeling completely dissatisfied with the service I received. I arrived at 3:30 pm, and after waiting for more than 30 minutes, I was finally assisted by a representative. From the beginning, there was a lack of clear communication. I had provided all requested documents, including proof of employment from my employer and evidence that I live in the area. Despite this, the representative informed me that my credit score was too low for account approval in reference to the regular. However, I know my score is actually over 500, which contradicts the statement made by the representative. The situation only got worse from there. Rather than helping me understand the issue or offering any practical solutions, the representative spent the entire time justifying why I couldn't open an account without ever offering a resolution. When I asked for clarity on what was required to move forward, the representative’s responses were vague, and there was no effort to take responsibility for the lack of transparency. I also provided additional information from my employer and reiterated my status as a local resident, yet this still wasn’t “good enough” for the representative to proceed with my application. I left without any resolution, and no one apologized or took accountability for the unhelpful, confusing process. When the branch manager arrived, I hoped for some clarity, but instead, the manager offered no real assistance either. Instead of apologizing for the delay or offering an alternative, the manager simply justified the situation without taking any responsibility or offering help. Overall, this visit was an incredibly disappointing experience. I simply wanted to open a basic checking account, but I encountered a series of unnecessary roadblocks and poor customer service. Been banking with SRP since I was a teenager....always helpful no matter the branch I've went into, and has pretty competitive rates against the bigger national banks and has lots of account options to consider.

My Account was compromised😒.I Currently Bank @SRP on Davis Road. As I entered the bank I was welcomed and assisted. Once I was called by Jasmine Ellis who provided the best Kind, Concerned, Warm, Customer Service. I walk away feeling like a valued costumer with a lot of 💰 . Thank You Jasmine For The Best.
