And her space reflects that. You are wrapped in serenity and relaxation the very moment you step into her suite. And the moment her healing hands touch your face, everything melts away. On your first visit she does an in depth skin consultation. She gets to know where you feel your problem areas are, your goals for your skin, your everyday products, and routine. She then customizes each and every facial for that specific person's needs right there in the room at her back bar. As a holistic naturalist, I truly appreciate her passion for incorporating healing plants into a luxurious facial experience! You will leave with a Goddess Glow! It is so much more than a facial, truly. It is a healing meditation session. I am so happy I found her in the Aiken Info Group on Facebook, because ever since my first appointment with her I have grown to know her as a person. She truly is a beautiful healing soul. It’s been almost 2 months since my facial, and I think about going back every single day (and probably will very soon). I decided to finally write this review, as I was going to the website to look at bookings, and realized I never posted about my first own. Let me take you through the process. Walking into the room, you’re greeted with ambient lighting, calming music, an amazing aroma, and a smiling woman who is entirely in her element. She will give you a brief consultation and verbally prepare you for the process you’re about to experience so there are no surprises and discomfort is avoided, and then will step out of the room so you can put on your wrap (if you want to, it just makes the shoulder massage later easier without shirt sleeves in the way). When she comes back in, she’ll instruct you how to lay for optimal relaxation and so that she’s able to move around you as needed, and then the process will begin. She has a personalized assortment of ingredients for your facial, and mixes them for every client individually according to your skin and preferences. You have the option to chat with her through the process (and if you want to talk, you should absolutely ask her about her journey to get here as she has a wealth of information about this industry), or you can ask for minimal interaction and truly let your mind go blank and drift while she applies the masks one at a time, massages your arms and shoulders, and takes your face though perhaps the most in depth skincare regiment you’ve ever experienced. When the process comes to an end, she’ll re-explain everything she did and why, and make sure you feel comfortable and satisfied. This experience is an investment into your mind, body, and soul. It’s so much more than a face mask (which is what I expected), it’s taking time to allow yourself to have a luxurious experience and reset yourself.
