Returned to Sherwin Williams after 7 years for some quality paint (I don't paint much). Spoke with Staff of my requirements. They found me the proper product. Glad this store is here to help. Painting frame of new external residential door (PVC & fiberglass over a wood core).

The product I needed was in stock. The employee looked up my purchase history to ensure I was getting the correct color. Very smooth transaction. Employee was friendly and knowledgeable. He carried out the cans of paint to my car. Great service!

I went to Store 2216 in Martinez to get 1 more gallon of each of the paint cans I bought a couple of weeks ago. The associate, Gina helped me and she looked up my prior purchase and verified the colors. I had a great customer experience with her. I'd recommend her to anyone.

I'm sure this place does good work, but I just feel taken advantage of. My wife and I went into this store and the first thing she said to them was that we just had an issue with water damage and have been going through renevations and Insurance is going to repaint one of our rooms. We have no idea what we're doing, we've never painted a place. We asked if they did samples and they said sure, of course, but it wouldn't be the paint we wanted, but would at least give us a color idea. They added us to a system, mixed the paint, we waited around, and when the paint was presented to us they finally told us it cost money. Maybe I'm dumb for not realizing paint samples cost money, but the fact that nobody said anything till it was done and ready, on the counter, after we told them we had no idea what we were doing felt shady. We were clearly caught off guard. I just paid and left, clearly upset. All of this damage, and now 45 bucks for a few samples we didn't need or know was going to cost anywhere near that much. How would you feel if you ordered a drink at a restaurant and when the bill showed up, it was a 20x what you thought it would cost? Should you have known? In the future, if a customer comes in and says "I have no idea what I'm doing," and then asks about samples, tell them how much it costs up front.

They were so patient and kind. I ordered 8 different colors to match and Kale helped me . Each time I have been in they are very busy but always acknowledged me. This was sure the weekend to go as the paint was 40% off. This store exemplifies good service and kind employees. Thank you!
