Sherwin-Williams Paint Store

Appalled by my experience here today. Went in ready to buy paint and supplies for my project. The store was completely silent and I stood looking at things for ten minutes before the guy working happened to walk by, dragging his feet. He never made eye contact with me and barely responded to my questions. Absolutely no eagerness to help. I left very quickly! Why would I spend money there? Save your time and go to Home Depot instead where the people working actually have some pride (and a pulse!)

Every time I go into this establishment, I am met with the most unfriendliest of workers today I went in and asked for information about staining, and the guy said go over there and look for the stain and the sandpaper and no one else was there, but he did not decide to go over there with me, so I looked for a few minutes I couldn’t find it then I thought to myself this guy is not even trying to help me so why should I even give this to my money so I won’t be spending any more money and Sharon Williams maybe it was because I’m black I don’t know, but this is not the first time that I just felt a little bit ignored in this store so don’t worry about it cause I won’t be going back

Great store. Staff is super friendly and helpful and even told me how to find some coupons online to save some money, and they're consistent in mixing their paint. Some places you can get two gallons of the same exact color and you may notice the shade is slightly different in each one but haven't had that issue here. Definitely spot on. I'll be coming back to this location for any future painting needs.

Staff was nice. Upon arriving I explained that I didn't really know what I was doing, I was there to find paint colors for my insurance claim. I asked if I could get samples of 5 colors, and was not offered any info on the size or price of the samples until they had already been mixed. I understood that they wouldn't be free, but was NOT expecting to be charged around $10 for each color. Since they'd already been mixed, it felt absolutely rude/inappropriate to refuse to pay and walk out. I am upset at the cost I paid when all I was looking for was enough paint to do small (a single brush stroke) swipes on my walls to get a feel for the colors. I'd have just stuck with the swatches if I'd been informed that samples were that large/that price. I am most frustrated because I feel taken advantage of, since I'd mentioned my ignorance of the painting process when I got there.

Love this place! The weekend promotion was great and I will most definitely visit the store again for any future paint/stain needs. The personnel is always friendly and very knowledgeable. Thank you so much for all your help, Christine! She was so patient with all of my questions and provided some helpful tips on the painting project.
