Shepeard Community Blood Center - Evans

I try to donate platelets every couple of weeks and the staff at the Evans location are always friendly and professional during my visit. I appreciate that they are very skilled at their job and I have never had a problem while I was giving. If you can give, I recommend that you give local at Shepard Community Blood Centers.

The friendly staff and convenient scheduling make giving blood a breeze! Shepeard's personnel, Lauren, sends me a personal text when it's time for my next donation and arranges the appointment for me. Paris is extremely efficient and makes the whole process effortless. Great job guys!

I would have appreciated if all the receptionists were more friendly, welcoming and inviting. They did not even say “thank you for coming in to donate your blood” after we told the lady that we want to donate blood. When given the laptop to answer questions before blood-drawn, she did not even say, something as simple as “ please, fill out the questionnaires.” I felt like they were not happy to be working, and that translated into them not receiving people as warmly as the could have and should have. So, some social etiquettes might be in order. If that part gets better, I believe your organization stands out in the community, even more. Overall, we donated our blood and happy to do it. Thank You

Without question I love donating at this location because of the staff. The moment you walk in the door you are greeted with a smile and the overall experience it great. The facility is clean, the environment is welcoming and positive, and the staff is quick and efficient and kind. I worked with Alexis on my last visit and she was awesome and I caught up with my good friend, Chuck, who frankly is a solid guy all around. I take pride when I donate and I'm very appreciative of the experience and treatment I receive at Shepeard Community Blood Center-Evans
