Shenandoah Ridge Apartments

Lived here for the past 4 1/2 years as a college student, on both complex's, and can personally say although there are many flaws in this complex, I can confidently say that it is by far one of the best cost-for-life quality you can get in Martinez. The maintenance staff is by far the best part of this complex, that small team cares for each individual resident in a way I have never seen before. They do genuinely carry the complex on there back, and you can clearly see it from them working and constantly. I can not imagine the stress of maintaining this many apartments. The front end staff, has improved year over year. Clearly taking advice from residents on the downsides of the complex. The new staff they hired in the past year drastically improved the quality of the main office. They have recently upgraded the pool, gym, and mailbox sides of the complex which was very much needed, sadly right before I leave. Do not expect it to be a perfect complex, bugs can become an issue due to placement in the city, previous dirty residents, old equipment etc. Other than that, I never write reviews but felt it was needed to shed light on the best parts of the complex. Lastly it is a very safe complex, have never had my car or apartment broken into. I feel safe walking to my apartment at night. Definitely consider moving in here if you need a budget apartment.

Unfortunately my mother lost her life due to the mold…. She asked numerous times to be transferred to a different unit and they refused. My mom’s cat died due to the mold. Nobody and I do mean nobody shouldn’t have to lose their life due to the management negligence. I urge anyone in this building to GET OUT, your life is worth more. I promise I won’t rest until something is done.. It’s also bug infested. We had to throw out Al of my mom’s antiques and important items due to this issue with this ruthless apartment complex.You haven’t heard the last of me I promise.

I’ve been a tenant for two years about to move out and can’t complain other than on the Blue Ridge side people like to speed as if there’s no speed limit sign. It could probably use some speed bumps but other than that, it is a decent place to live.

I have been a resident of Shenandoah Ridge for a few years now, and their combination of amenities, location, and price is unbeatable. They have invested a lot of time and money into the property in the past two years, and it definitely shows. It's so pleasant to live in a place with flora and fauna, instead of the newer developments in the area that seem much more sparse and spartan. The staff is also very friendly and dedicated to the needs of their residents. I definitely recommend Shenandoah Ridge as a place to call home!

I have been living here for about 2 years and I have had a WONDERFUL experience! No property is 100% perfect but the management team here REALLY CARES! Everyone of them knows your name when you walk into the office! The property is kept clean. It’s mostly quiet here! When I first moved here, I didn’t know there were school age kids here! Shout out to Robbie and Rez in maintenance! They always come when they are notified and provide service with a smile! If they notice anything that needs addressing they always let me know! The property upgrades are nice too! The hammocks are nice but I have a 2 year old and a pup! The playground and dog park are great additions. It’s overall quiet but if there is a problem…it is rectified quickly. I know that the price I pay to rent here is affordable compared to other properties in the area. The professionalism and the fact that they take such good care of my Amazon packages are a few things to brag about! I would have given 5 stars but the pot holes in the property need to be addressed. And not filled with gravel..repaired. But other than that…oh they are compassionate! They always do their best to work with tenants! I feel safe here with my son! Thank you!!!
