Shane's Rib Shack

Thoroughly enjoyed our date lunch today. We got here shortly after opening, which meant a quiet restaurant and plenty of tables. Around 1145 they usually pick up and sometimes it may be a bit of a wait to find a table, but I find it worth it. My wife had the BBQ chicken, which was chunked and off the bone, very flavorful and not messy, which allowed her to eat it with a fork. Different than other places, but a nice change. I had the Rib Plate and while the ribs were good, especially with the spicy sauce, the okra was simply excellent. I don’t know who was in the kitchen, but they did a wonderful job! Normally we both leave something on the plate after we are done eating, but not today. Thank you for a great meal.

Ordered over the phone half rack combo and order was ready when I arrived. Love the points system. Favorite sides are macaroni and cheese with baked bbq beans. I’ll be back. Love me some Shane’s.

I don’t know who was managing tonight but This location leaves a lot to be desired. My food was just barely warm ( pork covered fries) so I asked to have it hot. They came back with hot fries but the pork was still cold. Two strikes. My husband’s sweet potato fries were overcooked. Isn’t food supposed to be served at a certain temperature? The girl a t the register was lost in space and the bathroom access area had boxes piled up. Perhaps they need an inspection. Three strikes I’m out and won’t be back. DEFINITELY not worth the trip from Thomson.

Wow! Unbelievable experience… I’ve eaten here with my family over and over because I just can’t get enough! The BBQ sauce is amazing! All their different flavors are really good! I love the original BBQ myself especially on the Big Dad sandwich! The chopped pork and Texas toast are easily my favorite things on this earth! And thanks to Chris, the store owner, I can always enjoy the best food at the best restaurant!! Thank yall so much for making life better for me and my family!! 🍗🍖 Highly recommend for people who like delicious food!

The ONLY reason I rated the food one star is that I, for one, favor dry-rub ribs. While they are tender, a little more flavor wouldn't hurt. Their sides are delicious, the peach cobbler is always amazing, and the peach tea is fabulous! They often have specials "just because," which makes visits affordable... especially on a budget. Overall, it's a great place to grab a bite to eat!
