Update as of December 2024: I'm so incredibly sad to update this after we had such a great initial experience. We received a bill, which was nearly 3x what we were estimated in person it would be. Of course there is no contract stating what we were verbally estimated. After a 3rd party audit, it was determined they were overcharging quite a bit on various items. Our insurance was agreeable to pay all but $900 and ServPro told us basically they didn't care what we were told and that we were responsible. The girl that called us was incredibly rude for absolutely no reason. We had questions and her only answer was to repeatedly tell us what we signed. There were items listed on the invoice of things that were not done and of course nothing that was broken by the company (accidentally but still done) weren't listed to our benefit. We were in a very vulnerable situation and it feels as though some price gouging took place post hurricane. I encourage you to research this company thoroughly, as there are similar stories to mine online. I plan to write the BBB and GA Attorney General to report our findings from the 3rd party audit. Our first experience was honestly great, as their guys are awesome people, but I'm deeply disappointed in our treatment surrounding the bills. Our account is paid in full, so this is not an attempt to get out of paying, this is simply to share for those considering calling this establishment. If you do use them, maybe follow them around your home and document what they do/have them sign it before they leave so everyone is in agreeance to the work that's been done. My husband and I are so impressed with and grateful for this incredible group of people right here! Our home flooded from our hot water heater last week and we were given ServPros name to call. We had a fire in the building where are retail shop was located, it was a multi tenant occupied structure. I called Servpro and spoke to someone right away despite the odd hour on that Saturday. We discussed my concerns and I was met by Nick and Landon the very next day. They walked us through everything that would probably need to occur and the different options which we had. Landon’s team of Nick , Jace , Jacob , Keith, Nick J and Preston were present and on hand through out the entire clean up process. They all seemed to go out of their way to help us through this difficult time. They were always patient no matter the countless questions and concerns we tossed their way. If they didn’t see us in person Landon would make sure he got ahold of us to keep us updated on the process and progress. Even after their part of the job was complete Landon has continued to check in on us to see how we are doing and if there is anything he can do to help. It is clear this team cares just beyond the job. These situations in which we meet a company like Servpro are never pleasant and are always entwined with many emotions, Landon and team never wavered in their approach or care of us and the many other tenants involved (as it turned out this team handled the entire commercial property clean up not just our location) They were able to give us some grounding and reassurance in a very traumatic and overwhelming time and for that we will always be thankful. I would say I would love to do business with them again, however I hope I do not need their services again. If I do then I know they are literally just a call away.

My family went through a tragic shooting and they showed up the same day, 30 minutes after I called. They boarded up the windows and did the most they could about our roof. They gave us tips to stop or prevent more damage, communicated the entire process and answered every question. The following day they came in bright and early and brought the crew need to cover the roof to prevent more damage and cleaned up after themselves! Amazing work cant recommend them enough. If you have a crisis, no matter how desperate you are CALL SOMEWHERE ELSE. Do not use this company! We will soon be providing photos and emails of all the issues we’ve encountered as we are able. They will take all of your belongings, and throw away things without consulting you. They won’t properly inventory your possessions, then they’ll misplace things of all value and size -large and small, cheap and valuable. We were reassured many times that they wouldn’t throw things away without our consent. They have tried to throw away some perfectly good things, and then when we requested items to be returned but they still disposed of them. Their employees will steal valuable things or at least try to! They even tried to dispose of my daughter’s bible -an engraved gift from her now deceased grandmother- it is in pristine condition and is one of the items from our “unsalvageable list” that they wanted to trash but we requested it to be returned and they did, but many other irreplaceable things they did not return when they should’ve. They will hold your belongings hostage until your insurance company pays for the cleaning of it- our cleaning bill- just for things removed from our home was $24,000, and guess what- THEN THEY BROUGHT IT BACK FIVE WEEKS AFTER REQUESTED WITH HALF OF IT STILL COVERED IN SOOT AND DUST!!! $24,000 just for cleaning contents and they didn’t even do half the work. They repeatedly delay and then charge your insurance more for storage when the delay is their doing. They will hire subpar subcontractors that damage your home- the painters applied latex paint to our oil based painted trim. No one truly takes accountability for problems they just make one excuse after another or shift the blame to another employee or department. I am not going to leave out that they have done a few things properly, but what they have done wrong far outweigh those. I would never hire this company again. Those who have failed the most are their contents team, management...
