Select Specialty Hospital - Augusta

The staff here will forever have a special place in my heart. My son was transferred to this facility after a tragic trauma. We spent 27 days here. Everyone in the facility from the nurses, CNAs, Physical therapists, Occupational therapists, Respiratory therapist, Case managers, Doctors, and PAs were absolutely amazing. The staff cheered on my son in the halls during his physical therapy and encouraged him to keep pushing. This was our second home for a while. We felt safe and loved. We appreciate all the compassion and care we received. We will never forget you!!

My grandfather was here after a stroke. This facility is clean, secure, and the staff is attentive and friendly. As always you need to be present and advocate for your loved ones. But this is far and above the best facility he's been a patient at. Quality of care and therapy has been excellent.

My experience with Select has been pretty impressive and somewhat amazing. The room depicts cleanliness and care. The entire Staff showed efforts of care and concern for the patient and the family. Select displayed all the attributes one would seek while obtaining wellness in a hospital. A positive environment plays an important role when one is ill and trying to become well. Again, Select has just that, "A POSITIVE ENVIRONMENT."

The staff we have had caring for our son have all been sweet, professional, caring and compassionate. We could have not asked for any better..a few I can mention are:Sarah James, Jennifer Hartshorne and Lindsey Martin..there are many more I wish i could name but I cannot remember all of their names. My relative received competent, compassionate care at Select. Though immobile, staff kept him clean, fresh and comfortable. There were never unpleasant odors in the facility. Through the months he was there, the wound team insured he never got the first bedsore. The respiratory team achieved progress with his breathing function I did not think was possible. Reception staff was always welcoming, entire facility and patient rooms kept spotless. I appreciate the kindness the Select staff, including social workers, showed my relative.
