Savannah Riverfront Visit – Amazing Experience! We recently visited the beautiful riverfront in Savannah, Georgia, and it was absolutely amazing! We had so much fun exploring the area, taking in the views, and enjoying the vibrant atmosphere. The food was delicious — every meal was a treat — and we met some truly wonderful people along the way. Our trip was centered around performing at a local church, which was an unforgettable experience in itself. Overall, it was such a memorable visit, and I’m already looking forward to going back very soon!

Savannah Riverkeeper was founded in 2001 with the mission to protect and restore the 400-mile Savannah River and its 10,577-square-mile watershed through advocacy, education, and collaboration and have been tirelessly working to ensure swimmable, drinkable, fishable waterways for this generationand future generationsto come. ​ Headquartered in Augusta, GA, with offices in Savannah and Rabun County, GA, SRK tackles challenges like pollution, air quality, development, and water management to sustain a healthy river for communities and ecosystems across the Savannah River Basin.

First time going to the oyster roast and ran into a lot of people from my neighborhood. We had a so much fun and learned about the river keepers. If you have the time you need to go down there and see all the good they do. Nice group of people.

Questions about kayaking or fishing? Maybe about land conservation, or the Savannah's History? Riverkeeper is one of the most knowledgable organizations I have ever worked with and they are always willing to help. Everyone else ought to operate more like they do!

Great staff and programs. The VFCW (Veterans for Clean Water) are unbelievably hard working dedicated personnel. Truck is FABULOUS!
