Plantation Shutters Augusta PLUS

Got our 3.5” shutters installed today for the whole house. Installers are very good workers. Products & pricing are awesome, but like the other review said be prepared to wait due to COVID backlog & small operations. You will need to keep in touch with them regularly. You will be happy in the end.

Got Bahama shutters installed on a unique residential application. The shutters turned out great. They ensured everything was correct and even repainted shutters. I appreciate the effort !

From the quality of the shutters to the quality of installation, this company is the worst. Spent a large amount of money on several shutters for them to be installed with magnets (which was not part of the installation plan), the first storm blew them out out. Asked them to come back out and install them with the hinges as originally planned. They left holes in the shutters where the magnets were and installed the hinges uneven and the shutters will randomly pop out of placement due to the uneven installation of hinges. Shutters were also not cut to size and some have huge gaps from the frame and others fit so tight you have to fight to get them open. This company is the worst, do not spend your money with this company. Terrible quality and terrible communication.

We ordered Shades and one wooden shutter for our sun room in June of 2016 from Plantation Shutters Augusta PLUS. Half payment was made and Shades and Shutter were not installed until November. No communication was received from our Company representative. We had to keep continuously calling her and checking on status of our order. (Bad Communication). Once installed, full payment was made. Installer was very pleasant and we were pleased with our shades and shutter. We were told we would be receiving a $250.00 rebate of which the representative would handle the details for us. This is April 20, 2017 and we have not received our rebate. We have called at least once a month and visited the office in person on two separate occasions concerning our rebate. We have left messages asking the owner to call us with no response. We would not recommend this Company. The Representative was not familiar with her product and the Customer Service was very poor.

I contracted with Plantation Shutters on January 24, 2019 to have two awnings placed over two French Doors. I was told the turn around time would be about 6 weeks. At 12 weeks I started calling the company to find out what happened to my awnings. For the next 3 weeks all I ever heard was I will have the owner call you. You are on the schedule to have them install by the end of the week. The following week I received a call from one of their office people asking me to measure the doors and if possible take a picture and email it to them. Finally I called and demanded my money back. See they already had my money so i was at their mercy. Finally after threatening to drive to their office I received a call from the own. The awnings are finally up 16 weeks later. Now I have floors to repair from water damage because of the long delay in getting the awnings. i would not recommend this company to do business with.
