Petersburg Place Apartments

I was recommended to these apartments when I first got married, at the beginning of the year, as a decently priced place that would allow a relatively easy commute to Fort Gordon. Everything seemed good with the move-in in January and they had done a make ready of the townhouse (repaint everything and steam clean the carpets). My only issue with things came when dealing with the office. The lady that works at the front office is short, to say the absolute least. Making payments was never easy, getting something done took a couple of times asking and things were off. I almost missed payment twice due to her not being present in the office a few times and I had to leave payment in the door slot, of which I was not comfortable with. When it came near the end of my lease I let them know I would be moving in the beginning of June. I was notified that my 6 month lease that I paid an extra 50 dollars a month would have to be paid out. I gave them my orders (as I was going overseas for over a month and a half) and money for rent, as they asked, as well as the key in the second week of June. Just this February I received a call from a collection agency that was looking to collect a debt of 1180 dollars for Collier Management. When I inquired as to what it was they said for unpaid rent. When the collection agency, which had a wonderfully helpful representative, asked for the papers they stated the amount of 705 for rent for the month of July as well as a 75 dollar late fee and a 395 dollar collection fee. The collection agency representative was confused cause she had not heard of a collection fee for rent in her 30+ years experience, so she read over the contract for me. Turns out they had unlawfully charged me a collection fee, it was not stated in the contract, and I could dispute the charge if I had a few months to spend in court. Property Manager is never in office the maintenence people don't know what they are doing. It has been 3 weeks if going back and forth with them I am moving at the end of my lease I warn you all never live at this place especially if you are a person who wants your home clean and everything working correctly 24 hour maintenence is a JOKE AND A HALF THAT IS THE BIGGEST LIE.

The management staff is great. It is an absolutely beautiful and very quiet neighborhood, great area as well. The townhomes are so roomy and it has so much space. Highly recommend!!!

Nice and quiet place to live. Great location with easy access to River Watch and Washington Road. It only takes 5 to 10 minutes to shop or dine.

I love it here! Quiet neighborhood and very convenient. Great place to live and very spacious. Definitely give it a look and see for yourself.
