I highly recommend Park Avenue Fabrics and Interiors. We changed the couch in our living room and our 2 existing burgundy French berger chairs no longer matched the colors in the room. The chairs had also begun to sag in the middle due to the extra wide seat and the back cushions had also started to lose its shape. We called a few upholstery shops but the friendliness and professionalism of Park Avenue won us over. Even though they have a wide selection of fabrics, I had already purchased a brown paisley pattern that would fit the room. They happily worked with what we picked out. Park Avenue did not cover the existing fabric. They took the old fabric off and then put the new fabric on ensuring a smooth fit. They also took note of the original chairs and continued the double piping with the new fabric. Our chairs came back to us reinforced in the seat and back cushions. No more sagging and slouching cushions. Thank you for a beautiful job at a fraction of the cost of purchasing 2 new chairs.

Melinda is great. She's very knowledgeable on trending modern designs as well as traditional. She's been doing my work for several years and has always done a fabulous job.

OH my - this is by far the best place to get both fabric and your furniture upholstered! There is no comparison of the excellence of Park Avenue over other local upholsters. I had 2 Henredon sofas upholstered - one by Melinda at Park Avenue (PA) and one by a recommended one in Augusta area. Let me tell you the differences: 1) time- PA took less than 2 weeks and the other over 3 months and it's skirt needs to be fixed and has not been done 2) quality - PA looks highly skilled and professional... like a furniture factory did it whereas the other local person' s work looks hand done or not professional and has mistakes that need to be fixed, 3) Cost - PA cost was about30% less. In other words, there is no comparisonand Melinda of PA is a delight to work with.

I wanted to have some furniture re upholstered. I spent several hours with the Melinda and Louise. What I thought would look good together was not. With their help we worked together to make the entire room the perfect look that I love. I could not be happier and everyone thinks I bought all new furniture. They are still completing another project for me and I believe it will be just what that room needs. Yes I highly recommend this company.
