Great experience all around, friendly staff. Easiest kayak rental experience of our lives. Showed up for our reservations and they had our boat waiting and ready to go! Bonus: the chicken sandwiches were 10/10!

A fantastic business providing top notch service, staffed with people from all walks of life. The owners, Amy and Andy Colbert, sport an undeniable and non imitable passion for the community. Rental prices are lower than any other business for hundreds of miles and the location is a playground for anyone wishing to touch water. They have so many different kinds of crafts to rent whether you want a canoe, paddleboard, tandem, sit-on-top, sit-inside, etc. and the staff are always making sure that your rental accommodates your body type, skill level, and sought adventure. If you ever have an issue with any services rendered the business is very responsive and amicable to whatever your desired form of reconciliation may be. During the "on" season they keep the shack stocked with necessities, such as clothing or gadgets you may need for a day on the river, and a fairly broad selection of snacks and beverages and whimsical whatnots. In the "off" season (colder months) they are still open for reservations of any variety as long as you call at least one day in advance. They host a myriad of events such as full moon paddles, live music, paddle races. Summer camps, and a whole mess of other fun things to do. Their social medias and website are constantly updated with the goings-on and they are very responsive. These fancy words do no justice for how much of an awesome company Outdoor Augusta is

We always love renting kayaks at Outdoor Augusta and last week we had a chance to bring friends visiting us from California. Our equipment was great and Evan was very helpful getting us launched and bringing us back in! We had a great time and our friends loved the beauty of Betty’s Branch and the Savannah River.

Andy was a great guide to bring myself and my sister in law to Stallings Island last week. We were in town and heard about the trip and called last minute. Andy not only was able to accommodate us but he told us about the great history of the area. Highly recommend Outdoor Augusta for your kayak adventures.
