It may not look like much on the outside, but dang this place is great! I can't believe I didn't know about this place. I absolutely love hibachi. The service was absolutely wonderful, the atmosphere great and the food....WOW! The prices are very reasonable. I told my husband this might have to be a regular stop for us. I really think you should check them out. Our server Frank (Francisco) was amazing. We got our food quickly and hot from the kitchen! I highly suggest!

The food here was really tasty, and the staff were really nice, but I think a lot of details got missed. Ex-the salad came without dressing, they don't give you a dish for soy sauce, small stuff like that. Overall a good experience though.

So SO good!! Last minute lunch decision to come by here when our other restaurant choices were closed. So glad they were because this place is delicious and we probably wouldn’t have tried this place otherwise only because we didn’t know it was here. We ordered the crab quesadillas- AHHH we both loved them!! The hibachi steak and teriyaki chicken with fried rice was very very good! Waitress was pleasant, patient and kind. Food came out quickly and all was delicious. Highly recommend this place!

I’m a tough critic and don’t post often, but due to the outside appearance I had to give this restaurant a great review. OUTSTANDING sushi roll! A little bit of a hole in wall vibe from outside but absolutely great food!

Had lunch at Okinawa this week & was pleasantly surprised. The food was fresh & well-made & served promptly with a lovely (photo inviting) presentation. The service was excellent, the place was clean & cheerfully decorated. Unfortunately for them there was only one other group of 6 people while we there, so if you’re looking to avoid crowds & don’t mind a somewhat lack of ambiance this may be the place for you. It is located in a huge warehouse-sized building in a dumpy little off-the-road group of storefronts on eastern Richland Avenue (very near the new Steeplechase Stadium & conveniently close to my house). It is VERY easy to miss & drive by. It was last the home to a Mexican buffet. We had a couple of rolls & one of the raw bowls – all very fresh-tasting & well-made. Unfortunately they don’t yet (as of Sept 2024) have a liquor license or a real sushi bar so it is more a Japanese hibachi restaurant (without tableside cooking) than a sushi restaurant as they only have a few sushi rolls to choose from. I really do hope that changes but even lacking these two essentials it is still a very good restaurant & I hope it is able to survive in it’s less-than-stellar location. The fact they are open on Sundays is also a HUGE plus!
