Miyako Sushi and Steakhouse

The atmosphere is what you'd expect from a strip mall restaurant. Our server was very sweet, but an awful server. Never checked on us once. Not one time. Our apps came out before our entrees and half my order was missing at first. That said, the sushi was Very Good! That's the saving grace of this place. I'd definitely go back for the food and hopefully we get better service next time.

The only reason we give the atmosphere 4 stars is just because the music selection playing overhead was not family friendly by any means. BUT that aside, the facility was seriously so clean that you could’ve eaten off the floors, our hibachi chef (I’m not sure if that’s the correct term) but he was AMAZING! So personable with the kids, made it enjoyable for everyone, felt like we left as friends! The portions were HUGE, well worth the 20-30$ a plate (that’s with an add on) the sushi was picture perfect, if you go during a busy time where your littles can’t hear the music you seriously will enjoy every second!

Stopped in for lunch for the first time. What a surprise! The sushi lunch was beautifully plated and was so tasty. The udon came out piping hot and delicious, too. Portions were so large that I got the tempura to go. The service was excellent and super friendly.

Well, it was my favorite place to eat in augusta, up until I received the wrong order one evening and called back up here and they told me they took my name down. Well I came back up to the restaurant to pick up the correct order and they didn't honor the fact that I received the wrong order.Suzin informed me that she didnt have my name wrote down in a little book that was up at the front hostest stand. So I spent 70 dollars on food from the restaurant and suzin didnt replace my order with the correct order witch consisted of two steak and shrimp cooked medium and that evening we got two chicken dinners witch cost probably 30 dollars. I EXPECTED MY MONEY BACK FOR THE STEAK DINNERS OR A REPLACED FRESH PROPER ORDER .SO EVERYONE KNOWS DONT JUST HAVE A PHONE CONVERSATION WITH THEM I ADVISE GOING BACK INTO THE RESTAURANT AND DEMANDING A REFUND IMIDIATLY BECAUSE THEY DO NOT HONOR WHAT THEY SAY.

The food was so delicious and fresh! The manager stepped behind the bar to make me the best lemon drop I’ve ever had! She was truly delightful and you can tell she takes pride in her job. The restaurant was very clean as well.
