Meridian Waste - Augusta Hauling

This is 3 WEEKS worth of trash that has yet to be picked up. This Thursday will be 4 weeks. I can count on two fingers the amount of times this company had actually picked up my trash on time since August of 2021. They never answer the phone. Voice message was left that they have until the end of the business day today to pick it all up… or else I’m dropping every single bag off at the office front steps.

We truly have had a horrible experience with this company. It’s truly a joke. They have been late to pick up sooooo many times and sometimes when they do finally come around three or four days later they will leave the trash that has accumulated on the ground BECAUSE they are chronically late. It is a total joke. We are on day FIVE after trash day and now I get to clean up shredded, wet trash because animals are going through the waste. We have called multiple times with no response. Thinking of taking the tip of another poster and changing our credit card information so someone will RESPOND. You have one job, trash company. One job. We are ending service ASAP.

We have used Meridian for a year and a half. The first 3-4 months we received pick up *maybe* twice a month on time, and on the right date. Typically, if we called to let them know they missed, they would show up in a day or two. Service became a touch more consistent for several months, with just occasional missed pickups. Over the last 6 months we only receive pickup every 3-4 weeks. They do not answer the phone. They started send automated messages saying they will be on time and on the correct date, but it has not happened yet. Then they send out messages saying they know they missed and to just leave the bin by the curb with excess trash next to the bin, and they will get it. We keep leaving it, but they don’t show up. We pay for service, but have not received the services we have paid for, repeatedly.

They never pick up on the Thursday that they are set for. If you need to change the day then change it. So unreliable. Our neighbors across the street have had theirs picked up. Was it so hard to come across the street? 😡😡😡 Additionally I recently called for a credit and was told $5 for 1 week. Advised that this isn't the first time this has happened and they stayed firm on $5. This company is ridiculous 🙄 😒

DO NOT USE!! Recently moved to Columbia County and can not be more disappointed with this trash service. After moving I called multiple company’s for pricing and found Meridian to be the cheapest and now I know why. Upon signing up I explained I had just moved and would have more than the can could hold of empty boxes. I was told that wouldn’t be a problem and she would let them know and it would be an extra fee. No problem. Trash day came and my boxes were moved to get the can. That was all they got. My boxes were all in the yard. Not to mention it rained that afternoon. I come home from work with a yard full of wet boxes. My wife and I have called multiple times to no answer. Left messages with no return calls. Today they come for scheduled pick up and throw my one box off to the side and again only dump my can. This is ridiculous!!! Terrible service. Left my yard a mess. I don’t have a picture of the first one but today I do and this is how they left my yard.....AGAIN!!!!!
