Lakeside Park

The playground is tiny and not very accessible. There is no shade except for a Pavillion that is up some stairs and away from the playground. For my purposes with a toddler, there wasn't a lot here. The fields and restrooms were well maintained.

Beautiful park! Very clean and has nice tennis courts and picnic tables! I just wish the restrooms were available and drinking fountains were turned on during the day.

2023-08: Nice area and facility. Used the restroom here while enjoying some of the activities in the area, which were very clean and well stocked. The parking lot had a good bit of parking. Overall, very nice park.

This was our first visit to Lakeside Park! We had our two boys (ages 4.5, 5.5) and our two nephews (ages 4 and 10). There is wide open space for walking/running, biking, frisbees, kites, and more. There were two covered pavilions with outdoor tables, three tennis courts, a jungle gym (ages 5-12) and swings two accommodate babies and up. I was especially overjoyed by the surplus of water fountains and the clean restrooms! We will definitely be back!

We love this park. It's kinda hidden but it's nice, it has a nice open field on both sides, tennis courts and a great sidewalk track around the entire area. It's back behind the middle and highschool on Blue ridge drive. We have a good time when we go, but it would be better if there was like a splash pad and more covered seating pavilions.
