Kroger

I was trying to like this store and shop here. But it is February 1st and I got a delivery for a few items. And they sent me ginger from 12/24/2024… it’s February 1st… why was this still even in the shelves? Don’t order from this Kroger location ever. You will get sick badly. Stay away for your safety.

I routinely get rotten produce in my pick up orders from this Kroger. It’s gotten so bad that I make a second grocery trip to Publix after I go to Kroger for most of my produce but now I just need to stop dealing with Kroger altogether. I’m not saving any money by shopping there when I have to immediately throw out what I bring home bc it’s rotten. Why is there even rotten food on the shelves for the pickers to pick??? I decided to finally leave a bad review today. Maybe someone from corporate will see the state of this store and make a change in management before they lose all their customers to Publix. Here is the lemon completely brown on one end with mold on the other end and the old wrinkled up grapes they gave me today. Disgusting and disappointing.

My family and I have shopped this Kroger for decades. I will go to Columbia Road location from now on unless it’s an emergency. The shelves are empty and not stocked regardless of the time of day I shop. Rarely do they have the few items I’m looking for. The atmosphere is one of sheer recession and gloom. Especially the bread section in the back corner of the store which is dimly lit for some reason. The employees move slow and look tired and depressed. I fell flat on my face on the concrete floor a few years ago because the floor was dirty. The bathroom is unsanitary and neglected. A new overhaul in store/district management would probably help.

Be aware of their food and candies. We got a Twix from the checkout area and it had expired October 2024. Candy was hard as a rock. We went back in to inform the staff and noticed when trying to get another that all the candy up there was expired, not just the Twix. Be aware!

Employees trample by you with no acknowledgement and no matter how far away you park your shopping cart out of the way an employee makes it a point to work their way down to where you left your cart and now it's all of a sudden in their way. Prices have skyrocketed. Some of the frozen foods I grew up eating have gotten so pricey I no longer buy because after all the quantities offered haven't changed. Fritos and Lays chips $6.00 a bag or more.. no thanks! I bought very few groceries here this trip because there are better sale prices and prices over all in other stores.
