Kroger was super busy today, and the parking lot was definitely crowded. That said, they had a lot of checkouts open, which helped keep the lines moving. Staff was friendly and helpful, and we were able to find everything we needed. Overall, a solid experience despite the crowd.

I wasn’t going to make this post but after receiving a call from Matthew (store manager at Kroger) I think I will. I did a grocery pick up and some of my items were missing. I called the store repeatedly and every time I was transferred and left on hold. I decided to go back because I needed the missing food item for hungry kids at my home. It began pouring down rain on my 15 drive back to the store. Once I arrived at the store I called again and watched the person behind the “customer service “ area ignore the call. He was literally looking at his phone (tall slim blond male). I repurchased my missing items and left disgusted. I applied for a refund of what was missing online later. Matthew the store manager did not ask about my experience but offered to replace my missing item 4days later! Once I told him that I DRIVE 15 mins in the rain and got it myself he said I’m glad we were able to resolve your issue. You didn’t resolve anything Matthew I did! No wonder the employees there behave the way that they do! I shop weekly at Kroger and I use to encourage others to shop there but not anymore. I’ll go to Publix from now on.

I typically wouldn’t review a grocery store but it’s pretty frustrating whenever I go there to get fruit and vegetables that almost all of it is bad. I went last night and had to inform an associate that all of their red grapes were covered in mold and honestly he couldn’t care less, I brought the blueberries home and they were incredibly mushy. You have to practically dig through the onions and garlic to find ones that aren’t rotten. It’s pretty sad when I can get better quality produce from Walmart.

Whenever I find a great bargain in the produce section, it turns up bogus. Today in the middle aisle display were 8# bag of oranges for $4.99. I read the sign VERY carefully. It said 8# oranges 4.99 til 1/28. We'll, I got charged $8.99. In the frozen food depth. Drumsticks were on sale for $5.99. The sign said buy one get one free. Again, I read the sign VERY carefully. It was a super special til 1/28. I got charged $7.99 and $7.99!! This sort of thing happens a lot.

10:30 on a Saturday night and only self check out. I like to shop after work and had a whole cart, I refuse to go through self checkout with that many items. And the self checkout cashier was completely rude!!
