Insight Family Eye Care

My kids love The Browns at Insight Family Eye Care. My daughter just had an emergency appointment Friday and they both took the time to talk to her, listen to her concerns, and reassure her. I can honestly say she felt seen and heard. She said she felt so much better after leaving there. I highly recommend. Insight Family Eyecare. 10/10.

Dr Sherita Brown is amazing. Insight Eye Care is hands down the best. Both Dr. Brown and her husband Dr. Brown are fabulous, knowledgeable and understanding. I’m so very thankful to be their patient. The staff and area were nice. I had a 3:00 PM appointment and waited until 4:10—over an hour—without ever being seen or given any kind of update. Where I’m from, when you schedule an appointment, you’re seen close to that time. And if there’s a delay, the bare minimum is to communicate that to the patient. That didn’t happen. My time matters too, and this complete lack of respect and professionalism is unacceptable.

When I walked in, Ms. Vicky greeted me and I felt like I was at home. What a great first impression at Insight Family Eye Care. Dr. Brown and staff, Mr. Tim and Ms. Vicky was so welcoming, friendly, helpful and amazing. I moved from Florida to Georgia, finding new doctors that fit my needs and having health issues can be very canchallenging. I was recommended by the Harrisburg Clinic. Dr. Brown is very informative, strong communication, well spoken, down to earth and an active listener. I was very impressed with her bedside manners. Great experience! Please read the edit at the bottom of the raving review! We first came to Dr. Brown 3 years ago for my then 4 year old son. She was and is so wonderful! We will never go anywhere else! My whole family now see's her! She is so wonderful and patient, especially with children! I am so thankful we found her! Edit! Dr. Brown herself still gets 5 stars but her staff would get ZERO!!!! We have been coming to Dr. Brown 7 years now and she is just as wonderful as always. Her staff though is another question. My husband had an appointment, that was just scheduled the day before the actual appointment and because the woman at the front desk, Christine, I think, did not receive a call back from him by 12pm, when his appt wasn't until 2, she cancelled his appt. He works nights and sorry, he isn't conducive to her schedule. Timothy, oh Timothy. I know he is Dr. Brown's husband but he is leading THE WORST example for the rest of the staff. My son and I had an appointment scheduled together. They accept my insurance, but not his. We have self paid for my children for YEARS because we LOVE Dr. Brown. While confirming the appt 2 weeks in advance, Timothy tells me he is going to go ahead and cancel my son's appt because he doesn't have insurance. I asked how hard it is to look back on our records and see how long we have been self pay for our children! Then! While scheduling my youngest today, she (Christine) did the same damn thing! Said they weren't going to schedule her because they don't accept her insurance. WE ARE SELF PAY! HAVE BEEN SINCE WELLCARE WENT OUT OF BUSINESS! This is incredibly frustrating and makes me want to find a new Dr. I hope Dr. Brown sees this and reprimands her staff, husband included because it is disrespectful to her loyal and PAYING patients!!!!!! So, if you don't have insurance they accept, beware! On the other hand, Vicky, her other employee, is a gem and hope she stays forever.
