I can’t say enough great things about Hitchcock Animal Hospital! My dog Indy recently injured her dew claw, and after her routine vet of 7 years refused to take the issue seriously, I knew I needed to find someone who would. Thankfully, Hitchcock stepped in and exceeded every expectation. From the moment we walked in, their friendly and caring staff made both Indy and me feel welcome and reassured. They took her injury seriously, treated it promptly and professionally, and showed such genuine compassion and expertise throughout the process. The clinic itself is immaculate, well-organized, and inviting, which only added to the confidence I felt in their care. After this experience, it’s clear that we’ve found a new veterinary home—we’ll absolutely be continuing as clients of Hitchcock Animal Hospital. If you’re looking for a team that truly prioritizes your pet’s health and well-being, this is the place to go. Highly recommend!

Rocket J & Baby Bear visited Dr Berry for an annual check up October 26. They loved Dr Berry’s calming voice and tender caring bedside manner. Dr Berry did not rush us through the exam and visit, but carefully explained what he was doing and suggestions for us as our felines age. Office staff were kind and caring as always. Our Boys love Hitchcock Animal Hospital. Awesome Visit!!!!

You take care of our cats like they were your own. Ever since we moved to the area and started bringing our super senior to you we have been impressed with the love and care that you’ve all shown our pets. Our kitten recently had a terrible experience (poor thing seems to be allergic to tap water) with pyometra and Hitchcock supported us in the best way possible. Thank you for being amazing and saving our little terror’s life.

We have visited Hitchcick Animal Hospital for years. We have four dogs. Two little and two big dogs. At first we saw Jennifer. My wife is a Medical Provider and appreciated the gentle care provided by Jennifer. We even had her perform sutures on our German Shepard who sliced open her flank chasing some animals on our farm. For over the past year or more Dr Berry has seen our dogs. He is wonderful. He is caring of the animals he examines. Our complaints are with the Front Desk staff. They greet you on arrival and are courteous. However, they lack in telephone skills. When calling expect to be put on a long hold. Hopefully, not forgotten. Our German Shepherd had an eye injury. My wife used the Pet Desk App to schedule an appointment. I called to she if i could bring the Shepherd in today and a question on the phone menu asks if this is an emergency. Such a ridiculous question. Maybe it is maybe it is not, but if I call my human primary care provider the phone menu says, if this is a medical emergency call 911. Who provides animal critical care? We have driven to Augusta, GA for a venomous snake bite to one of our dogs. We needed about five minutes of a Vets time to examine the Shepherds eye and tell us it needs emergency care or is minor. The information provided to me by the Hitchcock Animal Hospital was that they were very busy today. I could not bring our Shepherd in just for quick evaluation. I could not even schedule an appointment wirhin the coming two weeks. In private medical practice for humans if you are having a routine wellness visit you schedule that appointment. If you are sick, you walk in. Not often can you schedule a sick non-emergency visit. I called Hammond Hills Animal Hospital. They we see our Shepherd today. I doubt that Hitchcock Animal Hospital will see any of our dogs again.

Brought my pup here to check on his breathing, and this spot was very helpful and knowledgeable in assisting with my pups needs. Friendly staff and doctors. This will be my pups care team from now on. Thanks!
