Hibachi Grill Express

Great first visit! Tried Hibachi Grill Express for the first time and was really impressed. I ordered the well-done chicken Hibachi entree, and it was perfect — cooked through but still juicy, with great flavor. The veggies were fresh and crisp, and the fried rice was delicious. Portions were generous, and the food came out hot and fast. The staff was polite and attentive, making sure my order was just right. I’ll definitely be back!

While visiting family in Augusta, my son suddenly had a craving for hibachi before we got back on the road. I literally sat at the gas station for 20 minutes searching for hibachi takeout and reading reviews. I decided to give this place a try, and I’m so glad I did. The young man taking orders had great customer service and was super friendly. I placed our order, and about 12 minutes later, we were out the door with our food. When I tell you the food was delicious, I really mean it. My seven-year-old absolutely loved it, and that says a lot! Whenever we’re in the Augusta area again, we’ll definitely be stopping by. Thank you so much for a great experience!

Nice place for quick service hibachi. The staff are very friendly and attentive, and food did not take too long to be received after ordering. The interior is very clearly not renovated much as it feels just like its old business (the Taco Bell) but aside from taking in the nostalgia you’re more than likely taking the food to go. Food was very good. Teriyaki chicken entree came with a good amount of chicken and rice as well as a good blend of stir fried vegetables. The fried dumplings were good too, a longer fry to make it crispier would’ve made it a little better, however. Overall it was a pleasant experience.

First time I’ve rolled thru here. I asked the last for a moment and she was very happy to oblige. I chose steak fried rice, medium w extra onions. She was extremely friendly and happy at window. I told her it was my first time there an she happily showed me the sauce and asked if I would need another. She also gave me chopsticks and a menu was already in my bag also! Super customer service with a great voice and smile. The food was good. It was hot and moist not greasy. It does need more seasoning for my taste. (I did not like the prepackaged YumYum sauce. It did them a disservice for sure.) I will definitely be back for the food. Very clean inside and no issues getting out onto Washington Rd. I cant wait to try the different combos now that I’ve tried the basic rice and steak. … and every single piece of steak was perfect AND tender with zero gristle! If they have the flavors in the sauces I will add the extra star.

I had a hibachi chicken with full. That’s so fast after orders a few minutes. Honest with you that place still part of old Taco Bell…not new remodeled. Also, I’m not fan of Washington Road. My chicken almost a little dry and vegetables almost little salty in. So, I’d give you a 3 1/2 stars. Not sure if I can come back again.
