Great Oak Equine Assisted Program

Great charity with an excellent mission. We have been neighbors since 2018 and always a pleasure to collaborate on fund raisers, events, and keeping the properties looking clean and proper. Wonderful volunteers, horses, and staff.

I am so grateful to the people who work tirelessly to make this program what it is and the amazing horses that make it all possible! My son has been doing lessons for a few weeks now and I've seen such amazing progress in him! He is learning skills that has helped improve his day to day life and has also helped him with learning teamwork, focus, and goal setting. I'm so proud of him and happy that there is a program like this. He really enjoys horse riding too! I highly recommend it.

Event was held here as it was their favorite place to come and be. Nice. Cold somewhat rainy earlier clear but chilly for most part. Noticed horse in pasture with covers over their backs while it was clear. Side room was warm and nice with accessible bathroom. Door from outside entry area and door into what appeared as a indoor riding area with railing separating and flat walking and accessible area. The side room had a viewing window into riding area. . The horse area nice and tidy. Place well kept and cared for. Other side room had two door entrance and exit but one from inside out to other area outside. Large barn style beautiful door on a other entrance and exit area. Beautiful place large pasture areas riding in and seen from riding in I really would have loved to have been able to have gotten one of the glass cups with lid that had the name of the Riding Stable on it. However, this was a private event not during business hours that I noticed in the glass display cabinet.

Was there for cowboy horseshoe & cookout. A great time was has by all. My only suggestion would be that the cheers coupon could of been used for choice of cheers or ice cream. Hope they have it again next year.
