The conference center may be nice, but skip the "food truck" outside. It's like DFAC food, but poorer and less options. $15 for meal in photo. 3 drink options. When I asked if anyone enjoyed the food there I heard, "Its better than microwaved food." I got like 3 cabbage leaves total.

I appreciated the taco bar today at the Change of Command.

Please avoid this place for private events, promotions, or retirement ceremonies.  The cost far exceeds the service you get.  The room was not decorated as described in our consultation for our event.  We had 4 standing tables with a bucket of fake flowers each.  The air conditioner was broken, so the room was 76 degrees the entire time.  The food wasn't anything amazing.  You have to pay a fee to bring your own cake. You can't take home any leftover food.  When we reserved the room, we were told by the manager that the extra food would be taken to the MPs or to the on-post first responders.  We were fine with that because the food would go to fellow soldiers.  However, when talking to the staff who deal with the food, they had no idea what we were talking about.  So where does the remaining hundreds of dollars of food go?  Is it just thrown out?  The people who work with serving the food would likely know that extras were routinely packaged up and taken to the soldiers.  They would likely do the packaging, right?  I will say that the wait staff themselves were very nice.

I love when our work functions are held here! The employees are so nice and friendly, the facilities are very clean and comfortable, the food is delicious, and even when we are having a short meeting, they always provide drinks (sweet tea!) and small refreshments like cookies. I wish our darling hall meetings could be half as fun lol.

What an incredible expo! The wealth of resources available was truly impressive!
