Glen Mary Historic Home and Event Venue

Beautiful plantation home! The owner/resident caretaker is a rare breed and devotes her whole self to the upkeep and preservation of this jewel of Georgia! Had a fun tour and could have stayed all evening to chat with her. The best home tour I’ve ever experienced, and I’ve done tons of them.

Great place to learn a little history and volunteer. Marilyn is a marvelous host.

Very cool old house with a lot of history. We had our Thanksgiving dinner here.

This place is immaculate. All of the work is done with class and taste and strict adherence to historical standards And the caretaker expends her her own money and all of her time to perform the heroic work to keep it up. The historic landscape is unique in the state of Georgia.

I grew up not ten minutes away from the house and I have never seen the grounds or the interior of the place..full of my Community's History!
