First Citizens Bank

They decided to put a hold on our funds even though we were depositing a certified check. Which I totally understand holds, I used to work in banking for many years, but they didn’t let us know of this hold. Normal protocol is to inform of the hold, the length of it, and even provide a printout or receipt of said hold. We were not informed and we were using these funds to pay off a loan which is now accruing more interest every day we have to wait for these funds to be available. We tried calling to see if there was anything that could be done to get us these funds sooner and were told no. We’ve been banking with this bank for over ten years and you can easily call the bank that the certified check is from to verify the funds if you’re concerned that it doesn’t look right. Customer service is a big deal to me. This location 100% needs to work on it!

Great experience at this local bank. Carly and Anastasia were so helpful in getting me all setup! Great customer service and very knowledgeable. Also, if you ever have technical issues, you'll be able to call and talk with a person instead of a bot.

Came here because I have a car loan with them but on like every other bank they will not give online access to those with just an auto loan......
