First Choice Home Builders

We moved into our home in January 2023. Thirty days into our move in we noticed what appeared to be glue coming from the hardwood flooring in our kitchen area. We were accused of wasting something on the floor....this lasted about 60 days. After contacting them several times; they finally came out and torn up the floor and realized that we had a roof leak due to a faulty shingle. Our floor had missing wood pieces ALL SUMMER LONG! We just got our floor repaired this JANUARY 2024!!! Now its time for the ONE YEAR fix all...they've already started making excuses!!! I love my home just too many flaws for the price. NO ATTENTION TO DETAIL The molding in our home has cracks where they have pierced it together...it looks horrible!

We recently moved into our new home built by First Choice Homebuilders and we can't even believe it's real. We are so proud and absolutely love all of the details that make it unique. The quality workmanship is amazing and we have already received so many compliments. No build comes without hiccups and we certainly had our fair share, however, we are very thankful for the First Choice team in getting our home completed in an unprecedented year full of constant supply chain delays and shortages. We love our new home and can't wait to enjoy it for many years to come!

When it comes to just how poor the customer service has been with First Choice Home Builders, this is a singular experience -- we have never been treated like this by any home building company in a dozen home purchases. For example, the communication from the First Choice Home Builders Rep ranged from nonexistent (ignored questions/emails) to very delayed.. Other communications, on the other hand, were simply rude and disrespectful. Despite their claims to the contrary, their customer service was wholly inconsistent with First Choice Home Builders core value to "Treat All Others with Respect and Consideration." Additionally, over the months, we received positive confirmation that a request we made was acceptable only later to be told that the First Choice Home Builders will not do the work that was previously agreed to -- again, inconsistent with First Choice's stated vision of "Conducting Oneself with Integrity and Honesty." Even more concerning was the fact that major damage and an extended delay to home completion occurred to the property without an update or any form of communication from First Choice Home Builders -- we learned about the major damage to the house through word of mouth. Damage to a property is one thing, but a month or longer delay in home completion and closing is something the buyer should be made aware of immediately. When questioned, the builder’s rep was clearly caught off guard when he was reminded on 8 August 2022 of the contractually agreed upon date of completion for the home -- 31 Aug 2022. Only then did he stipulate that the home would not be ready at the end of August, but instead it might be ready by the end of September, October, or later. At this point, the treatment we experienced from First Choice Home Builders eroded our trust in their willingness and ability to act in good faith and complete the build in a professional manner. I’ve been in my house for only 6 weeks and my ceiling is leaking. I’ve waited 11 months for my forever home to get build. Everything was pushed by 8 weeks things should’ve been perfect! I feel like I’ve been scammed. The BBB will be hearing from me. This is horrible. I got a new house with used house problems. Just horrible Update. After patching up and coming to no solution. And numerous of ignored emails. My ceiling looks worse. I contacted the BBB these people are not accredited. It says a lot about their work. I'm going post pictures of my ceiling. This is ridiculous.

I want to commend the First Choice Builders team for offering exemplary service before, during and after the construction of our family home. Jerry, Jeremy and Robbie made the buying process seamless and were responsive to all of our questions and concerns, even showing up on a Sunday within an hour after our call. They truly believe in building quality products and strong relationships, and we are extremely happy that we selected them as our partners.
