We had an amazing dining experience! Staff gave great recommendations, as I had plenty of questions. The waiter was extremely pleasant and tender to us very well. The food was good and gave the southern comfort that we were seeking. They had a lot of homemade dessert options that we didn't try but I had the fried chicken and grilled chicken breast with fried okra, mac n chz and a roll. Delicious!

The staff is great, especially Steadman the host. He makes you feel so welcome. I ordered the two piece white with mac and cheese and collards, online. I picked up my food and went to the car, checked the plate the chicken was burned. I returned the plate and they gladly made it over. I got the fresh plate and returned to work, opened the plate and the wing was still burned. The chicken tastes like it's fried in very old oil. The mac and cheese had no binder other that the cheese on top of loose noodles. The collards were full of stems and the cornbread was white. I used to visit Fat Mans all the time back in 2014 and the food was great. May be time to invest in a new cook that cares.

The service was good, but the food was not. I ordered the hamburger steak, rice and gravy and squash casserole. It was all disappointing. The food was cold and tasteless. Fat Man's used to have a great reputation for a quaint place to indulge in good food. Sadly, it has devolved into what we had today.😪

You go in and place your drink order then get in line to place your order from the menu and buy. Once completed you return back to the front area to be seated. When the food arrives it was cold or per say room temperature at best! It’s not served anywhere near warm much less hot. The foods flavor leaves a lot to be desired - it was awful! Wouldn’t go back or recommend!

An enchanting "hole in the wall!" Fat Man's is a treasure. Simple, to the point, and beyond delicious; walk in and be transported to a simpler time when food was food, and atmosphere wasn't filled with gadgetry! Wonderful, southern-style eclectic food served with a smile and all heart!
