If you want a safe low-cost environment for your children after school and for summer camp this is the place. They care for my now teenage daughter very well. She has transitioned to the teen center and they still care for her very well over there. Boys and Girls Club is amazing.

I'm happy for them to be here. They were there when I really needed them when Dad had a heart attack and open heart surgery and they still ate helpful by being here and being open for the children to have somewhere to go and enjoy learn and have fun

This place was extremely toxic. For example, there were fights like every other week. And, other students were talking smack about other people. When I was there, there were teachers talking bad about their own students. They were also gossiping with teachers talking smack about other teachers and, the teachers would also gossip with the students talking smack about other students. They said that bgc was a fun learning experience but it really wasn’t.

It's located near an old poverty stricken area near downtown, Augusta. There was a shooting around the area a week or so ago. The police officers did a great job protecting the people inside. Despite the area the workers inside are nice caring people. The facility is decent, clean not spotless. But overall an above average place to work in.
