Love the authenticity of the food here. It’s great for evenings out with friends, date night, or holiday parties. They have a nice little bar area and stellar service. The Italian food is made from scratch and your taste buds will be thanking you!

Nice size location, located in a shopping plaza in Evans off of fury ferry road. Food was ok but not seasoned to good. The menu was small not to many options, so you dont have alot to select from. However the appetizers they serve are great they give you way more than what other resturants would serve as an appetizer. The customer service was awesome enjoyed our waitress. Atmosphere was ok, low lighting an no other sound besides people talking. Over all a 3 out 5, good place to take a date or have a date night. But its not a place I would visit more than once. It just didnt draw me back for a second visit.

First time visiting Cucina 503. We didn't like how they have seating right when you walk in the door. I felt like we were intruding on the people that were already dining. Majority of the food was delicious. Did not like the humus spread appetizer with toast. Did not like the flavor and it was dry. The other spreads were salmon and a Bolognese sauce. They were okay. The appetizer with shrimp, calamari, fried zucchini and lemon was the best. Our entrees were pork chops, creamed corn and the chicken and mushroom with a truffle/cream sauce. Both dishes were excellent choices. We will definitely go back.

Underwhelmed and disappointed are the kindest words I can use to describe our experience, and I only use them because our server tried very hard to compensate for all the other ways Cucina 503 fell completely flat on its face. The hosts were printing out menus, so when we finally were seated, we had to wait a bit for menus…and water…and a server. I’m quite certain we didn’t get who was actually supposed to be our server, neither did the table next to us, because our server that finally arrived said, “I don’t know where she is so I guess I’ll get you.” The menus, once we received them, didn’t match the entrees for the evening. I’m super confused why everyone raves about the food. Other than the mussels, everything else was lackluster at best. Some other review compared it to Stouffer’s (I wish we would have read that sooner)— yeah, that’s accurate. I had the gnocchi, all eight of them. The lasagna was good, but the duck was meh, and green beans were cold and looked sad and shriveled. Drinks were hardly refilled…Again, our server tried his hardest, weaving in humor to lighten the mood, which was the brightest part of the night, because some host literally took one of our lamps and gave it to another table. The entire staff we encountered exuded inexperience, except our server. By the end, one of my party members stated “I would have rather gone to Olive Garden,” which barely passes for Italian food. I’m not a food critic, but I sure expect a whole lot more for that price point. Will never return.

Really enjoyed our evening out at this lovely, family friendly, Italian restaurant. The food and drinks were great. Service was pretty good as well. We started with cocktails and oh my goodness, the Colada Verde was amazing. It was creamy and delightful, sweet, with a minty bite from the absinthe. You could taste each ingredient, which blended so well. We also tried a watermelon mojito, which tasted great and looked really cool. To start we shared a caprese salad, which they split into two plates for us. This was excellent!! Really nicely done. We also had the meatball plate. Also good, although an interesting combo with the meatballs served on polenta that was a consistency of grits, which was nice. Our main meals were lasagna - delicious, and a chicken and mushroom pappardelle pasta which was creamy, rich, and delicious. And dessert, of course! Delicious panna cotta and tiramisu. Not good. We enjoyed the food and atmosphere and highly recommend. Relaxed atmosphere and great menu options. I’m not sure if there’s a kids menu but it seemed like it would be family friendly.
