You're supposed to drop your trailer and then wait in the bobtail area until you are loaded. It was around midnight so guess what I did? I slept like any normal human being because I'm not a robot. I was woken up to a Clearwater employee crying. Absolutely losing his mind, that somebody would actually fall asleep. Well yeah if you're going to take four 5 6 hours or more to load a trailer and it's midnight. Expect people to go to bed. These shippers and receivers set up appointment times that are never incongruency with your 10-hour break. What harmless cause at all by us sleeping on the property? They have all the space in the world for our trailer to sit there. Only a couple trucks still there by the morning time causing literally zero issue. I don't demand that everybody else doesn't get sleep for me. I don't get the mentality.

They're loading trucks very slow. 6+ hours and I'm still waiting my trailer. What a shame.

My grandfather worked at this paper mill for his whole life as an engineer. In addition, he was constantly having to do other peopleโ€™s jobs as well because there is an abundance of ineptitude and people are constantly trying to cut corners. They did away with his job right after hurricane Helene destroyed his home. Awful peopleโ€ฆ

Gate 4 is the gate you want. Off of 56 (Mike Padgett) it is super easy to miss, as the small sign on the ground isn't exactly lit or in a visibly adequate location. But oh well. You go through the gate. Turn right. Line up and park. Walk inside. Make sure you have the pu number that starts with 3000. That's the one that works. Once you check in, the trailer inspection starts. Nothing can be inside, so the load bars and straps have to be dropped by the guard shack... Just watch them, because you know... They somehow evaporate when there is a lot of traffic. Nothing too bad here, nothing too exciting or negative.
