City Gear

Very unprofessional, music was off , no greeting, it was like they were under the influence or something. I’m talking and asking questions get little to no response. I I asked why the music was off bc normally its on, She said she hadn’t had it on all day(it’s 6:40 pm) so I was like “it’s been this quiet all day?” No response, I said huh? She finally shook her head yes. I didn’t feel like I wanted to purchase anything from them at that point so I left and went to hibbett at the other end of the plaza.

I visited the City Gear in Aiken yesterday on 12/11/2023 & purchased some all white Air Force ones as a gift for Christmas. Whenever i got home I looked at the shoes and noticed that the shoes were dirty like someone had previously wore them & they sold them to me like that. I went back today 12/12/2023 and asked for an exchange & the sales associate walked to the back to tell the manager. Why the manager never came out but told the sales associate I couldn’t exchange the shoes because I let someone wear them? I just purchased them the day before as a Christmas gift but I kindly asked for corporates number and after all that they FINALLY let me exchange the shoes after I sent the pics over to corporate. I never wanted my money back I just wanted the brand new shoes I purchased yesterday. The sales associates were great but for the store manager not to come out and talk to a unsatisfied customer is unprofessional! Wow

I don't know the lady's name that helped me or the other young that was at the register but they were awesome!! The lady answered all my questions!! Helped me find the 1 color dunk my daughter wanted!!

I brought 3 pair of sneakers. They had all of our sizes & the service was great. In & out fast

I just had a horrible experience at Hibbetts. I decided to try City Gear, the staff were super sweet & very helpful. I was in & out the store within 10 minutes. The manager Nyla (think I may be spelling her name wrong, please for give me) was super helpful. I will definitely shop with them again.
