Chosen Church - Grovetown

Nice church. Welcoming, not legalistic, very progressive. Come as you are. The word is delivered in a way that makes it easy for everyone to understand. This church makes it attractive to young adults. And they seem to be very involved in the community. Was visiting from out of town. Would definitely attend again when in town.

Me visiting the Chosen Church was bread crumbed in my spirit. It has been advertised to me over and over again on social media throughout the years. You could say that's that I was spiritual lead here by "hearing and hearing by". Because life was life-ing as the youth would say, my attendance was postponed but the intent remained in me. These last couple years have dismantled my perception of "safe and protected" life, you can say it almost TKO'd my version of content and happiness. If you old school like me, and had nintendo game called Punch-Out with Mike Tyson. The little man, smaller than the other opponents [almost like David and Goliath situation] was a representation of me vs Life. Every time life was life-ing I was steadily trying to get back up [like the little man in the game was when he was getting dominated by his opponent]. But also like him, I kept fighting to push through, this little fire me won't die even if the body tired my spirit keeps going [like Dory off the Nemo movie]. Honestly lately I've been stumbling and I needed a "recharge or a reset". So I remember God said if you seek me, you will find me [Jeremiah 29:13-14]. And that I'd be given refugee within Him [Psalms 91:1-2,4-5]. So I planned to go no matter what to Chosen Church on the 25th of January 2025 and I am so happy that I did. I shed the feelings of be bewildered, alone, anger, being lost and being vulnerable as if it was a negative thing and mostly the self-pride I've been carrying since the lost of my father and close friend/godmother in September and December of last year. Pastor Yannik made me realize we all go through it. Either by those we link ourselves to or the choices we make. As humans, we all fall "victim" to outside influences, inner/outer desires, and the misguided ways of our own understanding. So the bible is not to condemn, its to be point of contact between the Lord and us and that you can find refuge in the word. That is it is our outline on how ...

I should’ve listened and visited sooner!! My friends have been inviting me and my husband to Chosen Church for years and although we never went, we did allow our daughters to attend with them and they absolutely loved it. Even with all the wonderful things we kept hearing, I let the idea of Saturday worship hold me back. But looking back, I now believe that was just a distraction meant to keep me from growing spiritually. This past Easter, service was held on a Sunday and we finally said yes. My husband, our daughters, my best friend, and I all attended and let me just say, it was life changing!!! The worship, the message, the atmosphere, it touched me in a way I haven’t been able to stop thinking about. I realized I’ve been missing out not just on a great church but on a deeper relationship with God. I should’ve come when they first invited me. But I’m grateful I came when I did. We’ll be back this Saturday and I am excited for what’s ahead.

Great Experience!!!!! I just relocated here from Atlanta where I was a member of Victory World church and I wasn't sure if I would be able to find a church that I would love as much as I loved them but I felt great about my visit at Chosen. I will definitely be a regular.

Just moved here from Oklahoma City and have been looking for a home church. Chosen was the first church on my list to attend and I want disappointed!! The Pastor Yannik’s sermon felt like it was written for me for this specific time! I definitely felt the Holy Spirit move and the congregation was very welcoming from the time we parked to the time we left. I will definitely be coming back!!
